Nice Way To Put It
The New York Times did a piece on Trump’s visit to Florida coupled with some observations about his dropping poll numbers.
The story ends with a comment from Whit Ayres, a strong Republican pollster, who sums it up pretty well for a Republican trying to tell the truth but wandering around it out of pure fear.
“It’s not clear that seeing more of the president is necessarily a help to his campaign.”
What a clever way to say that Trump is his own worst enemy without getting tweeted about.
And then this morning —
You go, Cap’n Capsize, you just go.
Gee, he pays people just to get a crowd.
1trump is one Wily Coyote.
2Ooh ooh, can we get him to visit Kentucky too? Comrade Yertle could use the help.
3Please, just stay away!

The fact that dueling “Town Halls” replaced the 2nd Presidential “debate” this year is a case in point. Is it more likely that increased viewer exposure to Trump leads to more votes for Biden? If so, we can maybe thank so-called journalist Chuck Todd who reportedly helped twist NBCs arm to agree to air the Trump event the same night and time as the Biden Town Hall. Trump apparently made NBC an offer they could not refuse. i.e., they had to stay on Trump’s good list and bowed to him to air his event. Even though it was Trump who pulled out of that scheduled “debate” in the first place.
P.S., it seems probable that Biden will have higher viewer ratings for his Town Hall than Trump. Hope so and pass the salt to rub in.
6This debacle of a campaign can’t end soon enough! If you have stock in a company that makes sedatives, you are lucky!
