So, Trump has decided to kill a stimulus package that would include cash benefits and unemployment. He said it could wait until after the election.
And in its place, he wants to shove through another wacky rightwing Supreme Court nominee. Screw Trump but also screw the Senate.
The House did their job but the Senate won’t do it. Every Republican in the senate should do what is right for America.

As with his extortion of the president of Ukraine, Trump is telling Americans “Nice little country you’ve got there. Too bad if something happened to it. Better vote for me. Or else.”
1A Stimulus Package helps Americans most in need during Trump’s self extended COVID crisis. In turn, those who receive the stimulus money will spend it on necessities, supporting the economy.
Instead, the Senate at Trump’s request will pander to a small segment of his base.
He has enough steroids in him right now to hit 60+ home runs in a baseball season, and refuse the drug test until after his physical is audited. But still Republicans let Granpa President Trump spin his wheels in the ditch. “Oh look, are those mail-in ballots over there, Mitch? I knew it!”
2.. and the reason we hang out here at TWMDBS is because the reportage by the NYT et al is completely predictable: “Democrats and Republicans were unable to come up with a compromise …”
Instead of “Republicans got in a snit because the bill did not provide the mandatory 100x the money for billionaires”. Even the last two sentences of JJ’s summary would be too wildly truthful for the wealthy media to print.

They really do NOT “get it” that too many need that money to pay rent, feed their kids, and a mounting pile of other expenses to be paid. It’s up to the rest of us to educate everyone that voting is free, or should be except for crook holes of disenfranchisement like FL. Plain and simple: if you need financial help, vote. Because until those scoundrels are gone, help will not be forthcoming. Evuh.
5Trumpf campaign is seriously panicking to come up messaging. Yes he blamed Democrats and Pelosi for wanting to send money to “ blue states” and cities. Thinking voters will now flock to him because he’s going to pass a bill after the election. Who the ef believes anything out of his brain on steroids.
6And then there’s the NYT’s. WTF? Earlier they tried headlines criticizing Biden’s coronavirus protocols. Seriously? It’s almost as bad as tabloids at times. They need some writers to revolt.

7I’m actually enjoying watching the Republicans go the way of the Whigs.
8The one thing that might get him to walk back that tweet is the fact that the stock market plunged immediately after he sent it out.
Of course, someone is going to have to convince him the two instances are related. But who will he listen to? Who can convince him that they know more than he does?

9I’ve read that Moscow Mitch is behind the decision not to pursue another economic relief package. He (MM) is Hell bent and determined to get the sixth right wing justice on the Supine Court. He doesn’t want any distraction to get in the way of confirming Barrett and help to bring the Panty Police to the polls in droves.That success will cap off his nearly 4 year campaign to stack the federal judiciary with younger right wing partisan judges who will stop any progressive legislation and protection for women’s reproductive rights from lasting for decades to come. He’s politically savvy enough to see that

I was just able to see a pictue of the poeple at the White House for Judge ACB. It seems that among that crowd were her kids! No masks anywhere. No social distancing. How could she do that to them! She may have had Covid and might be protected but science doesn’t really know for sure, but for God’s sake her kids!!!
