What’s going to happen to his majesty when he finds out in November that he’s not the king? Nothing good I hope!

  2. 170,000 dead from his mishandling of COVID-19.
But sure, let’s focus our concern on hats and tires.

  3. This is too funny. Every single day the Orange Moron shows us that he is indeed an idiot.

A poster on another blog I frequent quoted Brett Pransky, saying, “Trump just lost Ohio.” Ohio will not take kindly to Trump messing with Goodyear (which makes the tires for the presidential limo). Serves him right.

  5. What a laff riot.

Here’s a bit of purchasing reality for our snacilbupeR bros and sissies. I discovered the Goodyear Eagle tire around 1974. In the intervening 46 odd years I have bought prolly dozens of sets. When I had kids at home and 3 car payments, I shod every single motor car with Goodyear Eagles. Right now the three cars that own me are shod with Goodyears Eagles. There isn’t a chance in He77 I’m not gonna purchase another set, although Drumpf’s babble on the twitter machine inclines me to go replace the set currently on my sedan, which has 36000 miles on them F**K HIM and his GD tweets.

  6. Uh.
Are we certain sure this isn’t simply another hallucination in Trump’s fevered brain? Or another case of picking a fight just because he can?

Goodyear has never, to my knowledge, made caps of any sort — let alone MAGA hats. So how, exactly is this “ban” supposed to work? They’re not gonna quit making the MAGA hats they never made before are they?

Are the dealerships forbidding the WEARING of MAGA hats on their premises? Seriously? Goodyear is a corporation. Corporation’s business is making money. The money in the pockets of ignoramuses and fanatics who wear MAGA hats [or sheets] is green. That’s all that matters.

So, this ban —- how is it supposed to work, exactly?
Or is this simply a case of Trump being Trump?

  7. What a doofus!!! Goodyear is in Ohio. Any presidential candidate needs Ohio to win! Yikes!

  8. I would pay cash money to any mechanic who would remove the tires from the Orange One’s Limo and put it up on blocks in the dead of night. Damn, how I wish I could photo shop!

The real donald- try enlarging the picture of Trumpf in his limo in this story. He looks like he’s sick- which he is. Kind of like the picture of him getting off copter1 after his Tulsa rally fiasco.
And Melanoma in the back seat looking at him- what does she see in him? Oh that’s right- money, a “hoe” lot of dirty money.

  10. Donna in Seattle says:

Wearing MAGA hats might be forbidden because the red hats evoke emotional responses. Forbidding them on the factory floor or dealership shop floor may help prevent arguments/fights. As we get closer to the election, emotions will be running ever higher. This might help some hotheads to summer down. Or not.

  11. treehugger says:

They did not announce a ban on MAGA hats. They told employees not to wear politically-themed clothing to work. People shouldn’t be wearing it to work anyway. I sure as heck haven’t been able to wear it to any place of employment I have ever had. Please are armed for bear and are seeing bear under every leaf and behind every shrub. UGH

  14. True: The presidential limo uses Goodyear tires

But of course Juanitajean verified that already. For the rest of us:

Micr @5, I jumped on a set of Goodyear Aquatreads when they first came out many decades ago [for my then sportscar ride, fantastic in the wet].
They were so damn good I just kept on buying more ever since.
They didn’t last long in the early generations, ~15-20K miles if you babied them, as they used a ‘softer’ stickier rubber, in addition to the radical tread design.
They’re still sold. Haven’t bought any lately, current SUV came with new tires.
May buy again when needed, although I usually choose by Consumer Reports ratings and long mileage nowadays.
Doesn’t seem to rain much around here anymore any way though [although hurricane season is just warming up, after Hanna and a couple of mild tropical waves earlier]. MF has it been hot and dry this year, 100+F nearly every damn day for months now.
