Oh Florida!
No matter how bad it gets in Texas, at least I don’t live in Florida.
Here’s Florida’s latest graphic showing the increase in the virus.
The size of the bars have nothing to do with the numbers at the bottom. However, they did get them in correct chronological order. There’s always that.

Damn! I hope y cousin Kimberly got out of ther ein time!
1I was educated in FL and never would made it out of 8th grade math with a chart like that. Why was it set up like this? Some of the colors are nice, though.
2When you get a chance, Miss Juanita Jean, could y’all put a streak like the Dem blue in my hair?
And Arizona, Oklahoma….. Just like their orange leader, the governors of these states have had a major impact this year- their “actions” are complicit in killing people. When will they be held accountable and liable? When will their followers grow a brain?
3It’s not looking so good for you guys in Texas either. Just keep yourself and your family safe!!
4Yeah, but give them some credit for their graph: five colors! Five!
5Where to begin?
Y’all can trash my adopted state all you want.
Bless your heart! (is that how you say it?)
But this Guv is major d*ckweed and can’t
admit when he’s made mistake. Know anyone
like that?
He also wont dump a murdering, lying, swinging
6sheriff who he appointed without any real background
check. That’s blown up in his face too.
After seeing the people in this video, Florida’s government response makes perfect sense. Meet FLORIDA WOMAN:

7Now here’s a real Floridian!
Note there are 3 separate video’s in this post!

8Every time I click on a link I get “403 – forbidden”
9??
Hard to believe but the governor of Florida is a bigger jerk than the governor of Texas.
10If you turn it upside down they almost -but not quite- got it right!
11I just moved to Florida. What did I DO!?
12I got out of New York when the numbers were as bad as they are here now and you just know they’re going to have to shut down again. Frying pan to fire….and the frying pan cooled off and won’t have me back. Can’t blame them.
Kiriaki, I was thinking that too. If it got turned upside down and the colors were reversed, it would be something that would pass for a normal chart.
13Joyce @ 5:
Well, see — the bar on the far right [and so the latest] has the smallest numeral above it. So the numbers are demonstrably going DOWN!
We’re supposed to pay no attention to the fact that the numbers have no correlation whatsoever to the size of the bars [or the facts, I’m betting.]
We were lucky to get this much. According to Rachel, Florida is one of the states that has decided to just stop publishing its numbers.
14Gov. DeSantis has taken on Trump derangement syndrome: if we don’t know what’s happening, things must be getting better, right?
And we’ve got 2 1/2 years before we have a chance to rid ourselves of this clown. But, given the East Alabama Panhandle, we probably won’t.
Jackie M. @ 12:
On the bright side, Florida has universal mail-in-voting. At least till Trump and Barr kill the Post Office — probably in October or so, when it’ll be too late to do something about it.
Talk about an October Surprise . . . .
Still, just in case it’s still a possibility when the time comes, if you haven’t signed up yet — do it now before the stampede this fall.
15I strongly recommend mail-in voting; it can be done so easily and quickly. I also always call the Registrar to ensure it has been recorded and how it shows up. (Trust but verify)
16Somebody told a Liberty University intern to “make a bar chart of the numbers for a visual”, and that intern did not know the heights of the bars are supposed to correlate with the numbers. So, grab some graphic that has five bars and just superimpose the numbers on them.
I wish I was joking or exaggerating, but I’ve seen exactly that process with undergrads in my classes. For some reason, pie charts are even more popular among the innumerate.
