Reagan’s Campaign Theme Re-Imagined

The Lincoln Project, a group of GOP leaders who are trying to oust Trump, released a new ad, this time using Reagan’s “Morning in America” theme from his first campaign.  This one is just a little different.

El Jefe, the expression “the lesser of two evils” applies so well to the Republicon dilemma. While Covidiot* 45 is certainly every bit the moron that Rexxon Drillerson will neither confirm nor deny calling him, the “Never trumpers” are not a choice we need to accept. If they were calling for Mitch McConnell’s head, they might have some credibility. But they don’t because it’s no big secret that they’re trying to save their own personal soap holders, the “party” and maintain power.

The irony of Never trumpers calling COVID-19 Donnie’s ‘personal Vietnam.’ Die by virus or die by war, both are the Republicon way. That is the message Democrats need to win control of the Senate, keep the House and lift even Biden over the threshold.

  2. Whoever is (are) putting these together is (are) brilliant and hitting it right. I am going to post it on my Facebook page, but I put a couple of cheerful things on already, and I will save this for later in the day.

Can we have a moratorium on the Lincoln references? Any resemblance between the party that ended slavery and this gang of idiots is pure coincidence. If they want a name that evokes American history, how about the New Know-Nothing Party?

Dems need to take note of this and also the old Bloomberg ads and make the most of these opportunities!
