I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
As my friends tell me of the death of kin, and my relative is subjected to lonely quarantine, I am trying to not feel outraged, or down.
Where I am the sun is out, the landscapers are making a hellacious racket, and my dog will be happy to take a walk with me…

Trump reminds me of The Music Man, where “think music” suddenly made everyone musicians. I think he knows that his only chance at re-election is that if things get better soon. So, he predicts happy days returning real soon, because he only cares about re-election. So what if thousands die due to his statements – he just does not care about others.

3Trump is a sociopath, no empathy, only himself. I’m told he can be quite charming in person, that’s also a sociopathic trait. No empathy or conscience makes charming easy.
My husband died of the virus , the first in his care facility last week. Since then it has spread through that place like a grass fire. This will not go away quickly. Be careful out there, follow the rules. Don’t let your desire to return to normal mess with your mind.

I’m more fortunate than many. I have a funny little dog to boss me around and make me laugh. I’ve had bears coming to visit the last two nights in a row, and things are measurably better in Alaska than elsewhere in the states.
5Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat, same failures ad infinitum. Who said Covidiot* 45 couldn’t learn? He* sure seems to have embraced the Republicon pattern of failed policy. If conservatives take COVID-19 down the same highway to hell as trickle down economics, those predicted 2nd and 3rd waves are doomed to become a reality. Looking at you, Moscow Mitch and Republicons, are you seriously ready to own that along with all the other dumpster fires?

7Such sadness is permeating this country both because of this horrible virus and this horrid orange fungus in the White House! The tentacles [fungi’s administration] is reaching far and wide, doing everything it can to destroy this country … Fungi McConnell is wanting states to go bankrupt for the sake of the Orange Fungus!

8Add to #7, Moscow Mitch’s sponsors are ready to buy up the exploitable infrastructure of any state that goes bankrupt.
I suspect the papers have been written up, and vetted by the SCOTUS already.

11Needless death is doubly difficult. We aren’t in a war, no matter what his majesty says, we’re in a big science experiment, and the anti-science folk are in charge. Wait until the financial tsunami hits in summer and he’s laid off all the lifeguards.
