Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Park that thing right next to the Flu Klux Klan protesters!
1Well, it is a VW Bug . . .
2Ah, I have always loved Beetles. My first real car was a 1970 red Beetle. Although the heater took too long to do any good, it was excellent in the snow and used very little gas. Perfect for a teacher just starting out on $416/month. It hurts to see the humble little car representing a hated virus, but whoever gussed it up did a very effective job. It should be parked in front of the White House!
3Woulda thought that Infectious Dan Diemofo Patrick drove a fancier vehicle, at least a Lexus or Hummer.
[If I saw that squirrely vehicle on the road I’d end up in the ditch croaking from laughing so hard. Amazing what some peeps come up with, they outta park it front of the Gov’s Mansion on Colorado St., Austin.]
4Kinda makes me wish I still had my VW Bug. I do miss that thing.
5Thanks for that J.J. I’ve said for years that I’d go to the Art Car parade, and haven’t done it yet. Both daughters are grown now so it’d be a great thing to get together for.
6A few years back I attended the Art Car Parade and the after parade at the Orange Show.
7If you get a chance to go don’t miss it…..just go!
