Poopie del Pollos
Okay, CNN breaks some news and says —
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday that he has the votes to set the ground rules of the impeachment trial for President Donald Trump — without Democrats’ support.
All McConnell needs is 51 senators — or a simple majority of the 100-member chamber — and several key Republicans. GOP Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Mitt Romney of Utah have said they back the leader’s approach.
I hate to say I told you so, but … oh crap, I knew it all along and so did you. Collins and Murkowski need a dipstick like McConnell to prove they are about a quart low on estrogen and Mitch never had any guts whatsoever.
It’d be a dog and pony show except the pony died and the dog doesn’t know any tricks.
Don’t give them a hearing, Nancy. They held a Supreme Court nominee for over a year so it’s about time for payback.
At the risk of being labeled redundant, this becomes even more apropos to Mossback Mitch and Linseed Graham Cracker’s rotting rules and constipated regulations.

1So the Senate has 51 impartial votes for acquittal without hearing evidence or witnesses? Who are these senators, 51 part time fortune tellers with 51 crystal balls?
2Not a problem for Speaker Pelosi. She can lead the House to passing a stack of articles of impeachment. Keep piling on the pile, until Moscow Mitch and the boys are in a more receptive mood. Maybe send over some audio visual aids to Mitch; tweets of IQ4.5 confessing and video of Rudy G verifying the evidence.
Where the hell is Chuck Schumer?
3So Moscow Mitch and his cronies are proving again that they are bought and paid for.
Spit on them and their graves.
4Jane & PKM @3, Hell yes, Speaker Pelosi could keep a crude oil-sized ‘articles of impeachment’ pipeline going all effing year, given the enormous amount of Trump crime family/regime corruption, graft and grifting.
As far as Sen. Schumer, just saw him on a PBS Newshour video segment last night [or maybe Friday].
5I’ve made many criticisms of his public presentation, ‘image projection’, appearance whatever.
He used to look and speak ridiculous, the opposite of a leader, unfocused, head and eyes drifting wildly, arms and hands waving all over. He gradually tempered down the last few months, looked and sounded much better, but still needing improvement.
In the last video clip, Chuck KEPT HIS HANDS IN HIS POCKETS, no wild movements at all. He stood there and made his statement, with minimal head movements, speaking clearly and well.
Do you think some of his staff has been picking up on this obvious ‘public perception’ defect and been coaching him? I hope so, and that it sticks, because Schumer is going to be our second to last line of defense, like it or not [the Nov election is the last line].
Wish we could see how much Moscow Mitch had to sweeten their re-election accounts to get their OK. And did Mittens get more than the women ?
6Meanwhile ex senator from mastercard ( joe biden) makes delusional claim that mcconnell would become “moderately cooperative” after demented donnie is ushered off stage.
7( https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/biden-mcconnell-president-trump)
In joes mind the Clinton and the Obama administration are distant memories lost in the fog of time.
But then again he is probably happy with the judges anointed by this administration since they will protect his main contributors from any legal consequences.
Let’s not try to replace delusional donnie with joe, another delusional candinate untethered to reality.
Another issue with iraq war supporter ( by vote) in his delusional statement of mcconell being “moderately cooperative” after demented donnie is that he is reinforceing the idea that the thuglicans will retain control of the senate.
8When D’s seize control and either abolish the filibuster or make it so difficult (i.e. require actual speakers to hold the floor and add texas rule that they cannot lean or rest upon podiums or desks, or repeated votes after period where the number of votes needed to shut it down diminishes at each vote – 60 votes for first time, 58 votes for second ballot, 56, votes for 3rd ballot, 54 for 4th ballot then simple majority)
But with his corporate backers I am confident that he will come out against it to mollify his paymasters.
Gee joe next time keep you fantasies to yourself where they won’t harm D senate candinates.
I’m sure Pelosi has a plan. I like the idea of developing more articles and sending them sequentially. Make them keep voting to dismiss or acquit, again and again.
