I Know You Are But What Am I?

November 07, 2019 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Would somebody please boo Louisiana Senator John Kennedy if you see him? He spoke at the Trump rally last night.

“In three short years, President Trump has doubled the growth in the greatest economy in all of human history. And do you know what our Democratic friends have done for him? Speaker Nancy Pelosi is trying to impeach him.”

“I don’t mean any disrespect, but it must suck to be that dumb.”

Now even assuming that extremely rich people making more money is far more important than anything else, by Kennedy’s logic Trump could start shooting people as long as the stock market is okay.

And the only reason that Kennedy knows “it must suck to be that dumb” is because people have said it to him so damn many times.

  1. Kennedy and others like him have made a shamble of themselves going TV and saying such muck. No one believes them, especially the citizens who have had nothing but hard luck trying to find a job.

I vote against him every chance I get.

  3. Why do I get the feeling he was born with that smirk? I’m just grateful there is no Bumpstock market.

OT – We’ll just void that vote if nobody minds too much.

‘Outrageous’: Sanders Condemns Kentucky GOP for Threatening to Overturn Gubernatorial Election
“In a democracy, we cannot allow politicians to just overrule election results,” said the 2020 Democratic presidential candidate. “The will of voters must be respected.”

According to the New York Times election tracker, Beshear is leading Bevin by more than 5,000 votes with all precincts reporting, and Kentucky’s Democratic secretary of state has called the race for Beshear.

  4. The most ironic thing about this guy is his name.

In terms of brain power and competence, this guy is about as far from JFK as it’s humanly possible to be.

In the Republicon lexicon in which up is down and crime is not a crime, we’re all dumb or at least supposed to be dumb. But they cannot change the fact that a ***king moron is still a ***king moron which encompasses IQ4.5 and all those too devoid of ethics to deal with reality.

In the good news cycle, Citizens United took a hit in an Alaskan superior court. That’s a start.

  6. Briefly stepping out of the shadows but I have to comment on this man. I am disgusted and embarrassed this man represents me. I believe that he would push anyone from a baby in a stroller to an elderly person using a walker to get before a camera to spout his awe shucks folksy inanities. Each time I see him on the national news, disgust and embarrassment wash over me anew. Sadly, I am surrounded by deplorable people who vote to keep him in office.

I have many reason for voting against him; however, my disgust of him grew exponentially when I contacted his office during the Kavanaugh hearing. As someone who experienced military sexual trauma during my military enlistment and sexual harassment during my employment with a law enforcement agency (sheriff’s office), I contacted Cassidy (who is somewhat better putting on a show) and Kennedy’s U.S. Senate offices to request they vote against confirming Kavanaugh.

As I was attempting to briefly explain my experiences and how traumatic I found the entire Kavanaugh confirmation process, Kennedy’s female staffer hung up on me. I was not rude nor was I behaving inappropriately in any manner.

After I emailed Kennedy to report his staff’s rudeness, I received an email response from his office basically thanking me for contacting his office. Sadly but unsurprisingly, Kennedy’s email response did not acknowledge nor address the reasons for my phone call and/or email.

Sadly, LA voters won’t have a chance to send him packing until 2022.

The scandals are so frequent it’s tedious, but I will celebrate on the day this one gets caught with a live boy or a dead hooker (as another Louisiana pol once put it).

  9. Buttermilk Sky:
Add: an underaged, dead hooker or maybe he has a fatal heart attack on top of a hooker. Either would work…

  10. “…Trump has doubled the growth in the greatest economy in all of human history.”

Does it also suck to be that dumb at math?

  11. Just to put Mr. Kennedy’s economic statement in context, at the beginning of President Obama’s fourth year in office the DOW was up by 44.5% from the day he took the oath of office. At this same period in Trump’s presidency (if that is what you want to call it), the DOW is up 40.1%. But, of course these are fake numbers according to Republican orthodoxy.

  12. I’m looking forward to his book, “Profiles in Stupidity.”

Mr. Kennedy, you are an asshole. I mean every amount of disrespect you can imagine.

Tweet from @iwriterealgood in response to Kennedy’s remarks: “John Kennedy, a person with whom I have worked, is *infamous* for his complete inability to remember or have any policy interest in anything of importance, ever. He forgot the names of his own staff half the time. A complete soggy unseasoned meatloaf of a politician.”
