.East Texas Republican Representative Wayne Christian keeps that Good Ole East Texas tradition alive by wanting an amendment that would require that  Texas colleges and universities spend 10% of their budgets teaching “Western Civilization.”

Democratic Representative Borris Miles, a man with a kind and gentle soul, wanted to know exactly what “Western Civilization” means.  You will enjoy watching Christian squirm.

The young man in the blue striped shirt and blue tie standing behind Rep. Miles is my own personal State Rep, Ron Reynolds.  I worked hard to get him elected, and have been so proud of him in his first session.  You can see him walk away in disgust and dismay.
