I’m surprised that Barr hasn’t turned all this into the old fashioned kind of public execution – a real down home y’all come sort of thing like they once did way back when. But you never know. It could be the one last surprise Barr drags out of his bag, especially for the one just prior to the Christmas holiday. Yup. I do see him as just that bad.
19I can’t decide if this is short-visioned or long-visioned.
Long: Individual 1 wants to make sure that some of the folks in the Federal prisons will not be there to bully he or his kids once he is out of office.
Short: You open those gates, then when you are in jail for obstruction of justice +, it could be levied against you.
20How does AG Barr get to resume killing people all by his lonely? Doesn’t Congress, or somebody, have a voice in taking such a drastic, irreversible (at least for the inmate being executed) step? Is he, as a member of the Trump administration, just being gratuitously nasty, like the rest of them, or is there an actual reason for this?
