We wish you a Mueller Christmas,
We wish you a Mueller Christmas,
We wish you a Mueller Christmas,
    And impeachment next year.

  2. Just put him out of our misery already…

    2
  3. Could we get funding to build a 20 foot wall with a roof on it for him?

  4. Linda Phipps says:

Must be sleep deprived and took almost a minute to “get it”.

  5. I wish I’d thought to put that in my letter to Santa.

  6. Opinionated Hussy says:

Wishing y’all a Mueller Christmas as well…as long as he takes out Pence with him! (Dear Lord, don’t leave us with Pence!)

    6
  7. And in Trump’s stocking?
    He predicted it.
Coal will be making a comeback, in a big way.

  8. Happy Holidays and a memorable Mueller New Year to all!

To Donnie who is all about the “I” in himself by all means: impeachment, indictment and/or incarceration. Incineration works, too.

  9. impeachment sounds like a good idea but remember Pense who is smarter and crazier and more dedicated to increasing the xtian theocracy & xtian taliban will then be in power. Thr trumpkin is st00pid and crazy with no agenda other then making him seem GREAT!!!

  11. 1) Pence is so deep into the crimes that he would only last a new york minute. Mueller has got the goods on him as well ( Flynn lies, talking to russians, obstruction etc)

    2) Could someone please explain to me why the supreme court, and /or other courts of jurisdiction, have not fast tracked the court cases challengeing whittakers, illegal, appointment?
Besides the obvious wingnut tilt of the judicial system.

    11
  12. Let’s get Nancy sworn in as Speaker and then let them lose on Trump and Pence. I think Pence will be hard to remove though surely Muelller has the goods on him, too.

    12
  13. k, as far as I know about your #2, courts can rule only if someone brings them a case, which may have to work its way up. I don’t know what the procedure is for challenging illegal appointments, but somebody would have to have standing to challenge it and do so.

    13
  14. Merry Christmas to all !
JJ, thanks for all you do for us. This “political organization” keeps me sane.

From my understanding there are about a dozen cases where His appointment is being challenged in court.
So why haven’t they been fast tracked?

Took me almost a minute to get it but had spent several minutes with all three god-daughters and I was in a very good mood.

Ooops! Spent several HOURS with god-daughters.

  18. I am no fan of VP Pence, but I’m not worried about a Pence presidency. He’s extreme right and sanctimonious, but Donnie’s base wants brazen and shameless. Pence can’t pull off brazen and shameless. With no real base, he’s a lame-duck from day one. I’m sure Pence and Mitch would manage to do some things I really hate, but I think a President Pence will be largely ignored.

  19. K:
Thanks for that link. In my uninformed state, I had no idea that there were so many cases working through the system regarding Whitaker.
    Though I should have.
But IMHO, that Vox piece also answers your question.
    1. The supreme court decides which cases it will hear. Makes sense on a basic level. If every case was guaranteed a hearing all the way to the top court, they’d be still considering lawsuits from the late 1800s.
    2. All of the cases in the Vox article challenge Whitaker’s legitimate position.
    But for different reasons.
Mostly regarding Senate conformation vs. a statute of succession.
So it sounds to me that Roberts is picking which constitutionally crises case to make a landmark decision on. It might take awhile.

    To all patrons:
Happy Holidays, and I hope each and every one of you can spend it with the folks you care about the most.

    19
  20. Again why isn’t it being fast tracked by the supreme court?
The only reason I can think of is the partisan ideologues on the supreme court got their marching orders from their political masters and are sitting on it until it either becomes moot with a new AG ( barr for when you need an AG to railroad pardons) or so whittaker can create as much damage as possible and, like they did by sitting on Judicial complaints about gangbang brett, waiting until they can just throw them out for what ever reason they can manufactor.
But why are the D’s and assoc. groups ( CREW, ACLU etc) not jumping up and down and showing how the supreme courts indulgence towards whittaker’s appointment is destroying what ever shred of legitmacy the supreme court still has.
either way I have seen other cases ( secret subpoena, Obama care suits in the past, appeals from dememnted donnies pack of thugs etc.) being fast tracked that are less import then an illegal appointment of an unqualified crook ( been indicted and convicted of fraud) as AG.
Basically it appears like so much of other legal challenges that the fix is in.
