Well, Lookie Here
Some guy with much better graphic skills than I have figured out – for real – what might have been redacted from Mueller’s document.
Take a look here. (Click the little one to see the big one.)
And now take that size and see where else it might fit.
So is there a criminal investigation of Trump separate and apart from the Russia deal?
Lord, I hope so.
Thanks to Alfredo over at the Dairy Queen for the heads up.
Well done, Somebody!
(Note, the enlarged lower image is just a duplicate of the enlarged upper image, on my computer)
1You’re right! See if that fixed it, John. I really shouldn’t post until after my second cup of coffee.
2The $50 million penthouse to Putin would be a crime separate from the “no collusion” with Russia to scam Dotard45 into office. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, as amended, 15 U.S.C. §§ 78dd-1, et seq. (“FCPA”), a trifecta implicating Javanka, Dimwit Jr., and Err-er-Eric. Will this be the trapdoor that lands beneath Donnie’s feet or a neat tidy noose around his neck?
3I hope there are lots of tapes of Trump made by Flynn.
4Ruh-roh!
5Without apologies to Johnnie Cochran:
If it fits
6Then Trump should quit.
Slightly off topic here but damn close:
In the sentencing document, the Special Counsel’s Office makes a huge to-do about the fact that Michael Flynn “came forward” and “took responsibility” during those 16 meetings in which he spilled all.
OK, yes, he stalled at first — right up till it looked like his kid was going to take a fall, too. But THEN he “took responsibility.”
And that fact had a lot to do with the sentencing recommendation that could very well keep Flynn out of prison.
Now, raise your hand if you can think of any situation in which D. J. Trump will take responsibility for having brought the country to a series of constitutional crises.
Yeah, me neither.
Which means any sentencing recommendation regarding him is likely to contain the words,”Throw the Book.”
Sure, given how vaguely our founders wrote the most important document to underpin our nation, it’s unlikely to happen while he’s in office — but he won’t be there forever.
Because, fortunately for us, Trump is too incompetent to be able to manage a palace coup on his own AND he has made it the mission of his presidency to surround himself with people who are just as stupid as he is.
The words, “Hoist by his own petard,” spring to mind.
7It is unlikely that SCOTUS will allow Trump to be indicted for his crimes while in office, and the Republican Senate snake pit
8not vote to impeach him.
Last night, on Lawrence O’Donnell’s show, Jerry Nadler, soon to head up the House Judiciary Committe, stated that he will introduce legislation to abolish the statute of limitation for presidential crimes. So if he isn’t impeached and serves out his first term, he can still be prosecuted. Not sure if it will get through the Senate.
@ Maryelle:
While I’m happy to see Nadler taking the bull by the horns, I sincerely doubt it will be necessary. After all, how does any statute of limitations apply when Trump just KEEPS ON COMMITTING CRIMES? Any lawyer worth her/his salt will be able to come up with all kinds of prosecutable offenses right up till the day this pResident leaves office.
No problem.
