Go Home Dubya, You’re Drunk
Donald Trump is so bad that George W. Bush looks good?
Did everybody forget that Bush lied, enriched his friends, got soldiers killed, had a creepy vice president, was an idiot, left this country at the brink of economic disaster, left office with a 24% approval rating, and wasn’t all that worried about Osama bin Laden.
Trump is just Bush 2.0 without good table manners.
But yet, Bush is in demand on the campaign trail. He’s trotting around the country helping Republicans.
He’s campaigning for Pete Sessions, Will Hurd, Rick Scott and then a guy in Indiana and one in Missouri.
Obama is doing the same thing, but there’s one big difference – every damn appearance Bush makes will be behind closed doors. Every single one. You know, just like his entire presidency – citizens are not invited. After all, somebody may ask Bush a question and then suddenly remember that he has to go call Dick Cheney for the answer.
Y’all, I hate that guy and I haven’t forgotten. We gotta make sure that these high dollar closed door fundraisers have somebody there who will record.
Bush and his creepy vice-president undoubtedly committed war crimes. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: If Obama hadn’t declared investigations of their crimes off the table when he took office, the ensuing investigations would have destroyed the NSGOP. And look where we are now.

2The George W. Bush Undisclosed Location Campaign Tour.
Please everyone, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, upgraded for security to a closed door. Please.
3With Dubya, there was no question that there was a hand up the back of his jacket, and nobody saw Cheney drinking while Dubya talked.
With Donnie, it’s a little more subtle. The hand up the back of his jacket is coming from all the way over there in Russia, so a lot of crap escapes out the sides.
4What’s wrong with Americans?
5After Republicans brought us financial panics ending with the Great Depression, Americans gave control of Congress to Democrats, almost exclusively, nearly 60 years.
The Republicans screwed the pooch again in 2006, culminating with the Great Recession, Iraq disaster, Katrina incompetence, Mark Foley and crew perversion, and DeLay/Abramoff corruption.
Yet only 4 years later, Americans gave Congress back to the Republicans, and in 2016, electing a (insert 20 adjectives) game show host as President.
WTF America? Seriously.
This summer I went through W’s library in Dallas (free admission day) and was reminded all the way through of why I didn’t like anything about his presidency.
6Molly was my favorite. Thought we would never have another until I discovered Juanita Jean.
It is almost hysterical that Bush would speak at McCain’s funeral then work for Trumpites.
You just need more strong women to run in Texas.
What you really need is another Ann Richards to shake up the Good Ole Boys.
7Two points:
First, you misspelled pRick Scott’s name. No, the ‘p’ is NOT silent — I ought to know, I live in Florida.
And second,

Katherine: did you see both books?
9Must have missed them……
10The Bush family are not benign folks. I can’t forget the Willie Horton ad, the nasty false rumors spread about McCain’s daughter in South Carolina, the disgusting Swift Boat campaign against Kerry. The last two are especially despicable as they aimed at W and Cheney’s fellow Vietnam vets. Oh wait…..
W can keep on painting, neither loved nor respected, but probably of little harm and definitely of no consequence. Cheney, on the other hand, I’ve said since January 2009 that he should be microchipped so we know where he is at all times.
11@Yet another Baby Boomer-
Perhaps the Drs. should have given that donor heart to someone who had a heart to begin with.
12Yeah, Dubya was beastly, but Trump is the undead.
I am sitting here watching Chris Hayes in MI with Michael Moore, and YES, Obama really slipped up not charging the war criminals, but I am listening to two little idiots sit there and tell us that they did not vote for president in 2016 so they could show US that “evil is evil” and they shouldn’t have to pick between two evil people. Well, that showed us, didn’t it?
Yeah. Everything is a chain to something else, and Reagan led to Trump, so fate, karma, whatever. Hillary Clinton was so evil she was just like Trump. Sorry. Don’t buy it. And I will go to my dying day wondering how the little idiots came to their conclusions.
13Just the thought of Darth Cheney still males my skin crawl.
14Whoever posted the Molly Ivins quote earlier about 43 needs to post it again, here. That thought needs to be burned into our brains.
15two crows, No, Donnie does not make me miss Dubya. He makes me miss Barack Obama like all h***.
16Dubyas library is interesting. Some of the books haven’t been colored in yet.
17The Shrublet Presidential years . . . a perfect example of what kind of talent a dunce will attract.
