Lookie Here!
Our own BarbinDC was at the Progressive Change Campaign Rally in DeeCee today. That’s her and her hat standing behind Elizabeth Warren! Barb is carrying a Pantsuit Nation bag.
Barb ain’t going down without a fight! Please thank her for taking a stand.
Also, thanks to Elizabeth Warren.
Just heard that the judge is going to let Trump have his way. Tell me, if we impeach Trump, can we also impeach all those who aided and abetted his hostile takeover?
1Thanks Barb in DC.
There are times when I wish we all had enough $$, and time to visit our congressional representatives to express our concerns.
Those of us at the far end of the country or unable to afford costs or time will have to depend on the phone and email to convey our support or express our dissatisfaction.
Thanks for being in the front lines.
2Thanks for being there, BarbinDC!!
3You and Elizabeth … what a power couple! 🙂
Thanks, Ladies. We will win!
4Thank you, BarbinDC, and Elizabeth too. You’re a dynamic duo, plus I love your hat.
5Thanks BarbinDC for being there in person for those of us who are with you in spirit!!!
6The World’s Most Dangerous beauty salon patrons appreciate your presence. Thank you.
7Thank You, Thank You Very Much. Hey, it got me out of bed and was also on the same bus route to the Holiday Market that’s held every year in front of the National Portrait Gallery. I had a lovely afternoon and this bit of business was quite short and sweet. Plus, I don’t mind being camera fodder.
In fairness, there were other groups involved in today’s affair, including Move On, Public Citizen, and another who’s name I didn’t catch. I got to keep the sign.
8Well I’m sure y’all have heard about the latest anti-Warren screed from 45. Calling her Pocahontas, in a ceremony for Navajo Wind Talkers of WWII; I guess he just doesn’t know any better.
The sad thing is (for 45), Sen. Warren *wants* to have Native American heritage, and she apparently is already using this gaffe to raise funds.
I am unsurprised that the recipients didn’t show a hint of reaction when 45 tried to use them as props in his sick l & twisted ittle game. I suspect they’re long used to such bad behavior on the part of Federal officials…
9The Navajo Nation was pretty peeved about the racist remark, and I don’t suppose the Andrew Jackson portrait was to their taste either.

10@BarbinDC, sorry I neglected to say thank you for representing a goodly number of us who couldn’t make it. My bad back and knees won’t let me stand and march the way I used to, but I am often there in spirit. And sometimes I think Donnie should be able to hear me hollering at him from twelve miles away in Greenbelt.
11BarbinDC, blessings upon you! Have over the years done my bit with marches etc. Almost ended up in the hospital due to heat and dehydration from one of them. And blessings upon Elizabeth Warren as well!
12Right on, BarbinDC! I don’t live in your neighborhood but I like your style. Thank you from Barbs everywhere.
