Poor Little Snowflakes
The Washington Times is a far right newspaper. Apparently, further right than anyone suspected.
Do you want to know who the real victims are in the “crimes against America” case? Of course you do.
And their definition of “manhandled”?
It has been reported that the agents checked Mr. Manafort and wife Kathleen for guns as they broke into the Alexandria condo pre-dawn by picking the lock.
A source familiar with the case told The Washington Times the search was even more intrusive: An agent patted down Mrs. Manafort before she was allowed to get out of bed.
Mrs. Manafort is a lawyer and was fully aware of her husband’s crimes against America. The previous morning, they woke up to a horse’s head in their bed.
But how dare the FBI check a white man and his wife for guns.
The Manaforts will learn experientially that a quick pat down to ensure officer safety is far different than the deliberate to the skin search that awaits in even the lowest level County jail. Their definitions of “intrusive” may sky rocket.
1I hope the FBI learns its lesson from this misconduct. Why should their agents assume someone who would harm America might also harm American FBI officers?
Let’s hope when the Manaforts are taken in for questioning, they’re asked nicely, and the queries are not too invasive of their personal privacy.
2The people who are outraged by this “man-handling” are the same ones that think NFL players have no business protesting the fact that unarmed blacks are gunned down by the police. The irony.
3You mean the Moonie Times? Owned by that Mr. Moon? It cannot be further right than most people suspected. It has been a wacko publication since it was started.
4Considering that a large number of gun nuts brag about keeping a gun within reach while in bed, a patdown would definately be in order. And with a few seconds of warning, she could have easily had a shotgun under the sheets with her.
Does anyone want to guess the Washington Times’ position on “stop & frisk”? I’m sure there is a difference between Mrs. Manifort and the usual subjects of that manhandling, but I can’t quite put my finger on it…
5The guy Manafort was campaign manager for says cops should be free to slam suspects’ heads into the sides of car doors as they’re being arrested.
6p.s. They picked the lock? Where’s the battering ram they use on the hoi polloi? Did they put little plastic booties on their shoes like the cable guy does?
7Was Mrs. Manafort patted down by a male or female agent?
8Whaaaaa! Should we take up a collection to buy a book on etiquette and send it to the FBI? As for a book, they did everything by their book and as far as they were concerned – and Mueller – that’s the book that counted.
