Oh Texas
In light of the Texas Lege passing SB 4 to ban sanctuary cities and Lt. Gov Dan Patrick insisting on his damn bathroom bill, Michael Dell and some of his friends signed a letter to Governor Abbott.
Dell, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Gearbox … and more, all warned that Texas might lose them.
Texas could also lose Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Fort Worth, El Paso, and Laredo when we all secede from Texas and found The Republic of Texans Who Can Read.
Meanwhile, M. Scott Byers has some fun with our cowboys in government.
Texas.
1Soon to be Tech-less.
Yeah, we not only have Trump in Washington, slurping up all our tax dollars, we have these idjits in Texas. Don’t get me started.
2If ever there was a boat deserving of a plug below the water line with a reactive substance that contains a great amount of potential energy, it would be that ship of fools.
3I note that “Local Control” is being drowned in the cartoon. The GOP is all for local control until the locals do something they don’t like. They REALLY don’t like DC, which is why the DC government is forbidden to use DC’s own tax money on things DC voters have voted for If the GOP thinks they’re naughty. (Not a lot of DC voters are GOP.)
4Know this might be unpopular, but I will not be buying products from or sold out of Texas.
5I cannot support the insanity.
I’d love to see companies like those move out of red states to blue. Money is the only thing those snacilbupeR crooks recognize. They can stick with their Walton, DeVos, Kochs, etc, pals.
6Why not just let all the rethugs leave? They can find an island some where loaded with guns, no immigrants, and we will all watch the island sink due to the climate change they don’t believe in.
