I Love Yew, Texas
Y’all, Texas Congressvarmint Pistol Pete Sessions (we call him that because he’s always shooting off his mouth) has found himself in the position of being unable to keep all them minority-type folks in the proper categories.
Pistol Pete says that Pulse cannot possible be a gay nightclub because ….
Oh my. We could not possibly grieve gays, but Latinos, well, they are mostly okay – except, of course, those from Mexico. Plus, Latinos can’t be gay. And gays can’t be Latinos, right? Can black people be gay? Pete hasn’t figured that out.
Pete’s spokesperson (clean up person) said he was misunderstood.
“What my boss meant to say was that there weren’t only gay individuals at the club but people from all walks of life were present,” Boothe said.
Oh hell, he didn’t mean to say that and you know it. He meant what he said because he’s a an old white guy who hasn’t been to a dance club since Sonny and Cher broke up.
Y’all, Pete is goofy. And there’s just too many minorities for him to keep up with them.
Thanks to Dominic for the heads up.
Yeah, and he probably believes the internet is a series of tubes, too.
1The battery in my RW babble translator isn’t fully charged this morning. But it seems what Pete is saying is that since he considers himself a straight male, he’s offering to convert all the gays by having sex with them. If all it takes is the presence of a few straights to turn a gay club straight, Pete’s ready to lay down for the cause. Right Pete?
2Seems to me, in the interest of efficiency, people like Pistole Pete, Canadian Ted, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, Louie the backwoods bonehead, etc etc would just let their “what my boss meant to say” person speak for them in the first place. Saves some electrons.
How did Texas and America get to the point that uneducated illiterates could poll sufficient votes to win any election? Mig*d, I have a master’s and abandoned work toward a PhD and am overwhelmed by the job descriptions of US Representative, US Senator let alone President of the United States, aka “leader of the free world”. 95% of the 535ish Congress members are woefully intellectually unfit for their office, including ALL of the snacilbupeR wannabes.
3It is quite evident that Poor Pete is late getting the news that, indeed, Pulse is a gay club, however, anyone can go there — they don’t have to be gay, maybe happy, but not gay in the LGBTQ sense of the word “gay.”
4Do Drump and the Orlando know each other? Just asking.
5I think there is some thing Fishy about the Orlando shooter And Drumpf. They were both born in Queens NY. Both spend a lot of time in FL. Both try to hide their deviant thoughts. Drumpf by putting on Beauty pageants to prove he is not one of them. Nothing brings up the polls like a shooting. So Could this be a GOP false flag to bring up the polls. Just asking.
God I’m beginning to sound like I drank some right wing Kool-aid.
6“All walks of life?” So these individuals at the club all had training in being LGBT?
7It’s contagious, Rastybob. ‘Specially if you’re at all creative, because after a bit you start making up counter-conspiracy theories just for the fun of it.
I want to know how these idiots are always being “told” something like “it’s a young person’s club, not a gay club” and who’s doing the telling. Is it a voice in their head, or on the phone, or the towel boy at the Congressional gym? Because nobody I’ve heard has said that. The “young” is pretty much standard for clubs anyway; an old person’s club will have nice cushioned armchairs and tables beside them to set your drink on, and the music’s not usually as loud even though the people are deafer.
8Okay. I suggest we start a GoFundMe page for members of Congress who have yet to master the art of The Google so they can take classes.
Search for “pulse nightclub orlando” and you’ll find their website. “The hottest gay club in Orlando”. Right there in the description.
He’s Republican, right? And this maroon is in Congress (!!!!!!!!??????). How many more reasons does anybody need to vote Democrat?
I mean it. Honestly.
9JAKvirginia, The Google can’t cure st00pid. When the words don’t mean what they think they mean, no amount of remedial reading and tutoring can penetrate the rarefied atmosphere surrounding their too few brain cells. Ask John Boehner. He was last seen singing “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” as he fled the scene. It’s a perverse pleasure, but I am enjoying the sight of Lyin’ Ryan trying to place a muzzle on Donnie Drumpf while simultaneously herding the Freedumb Caucus.
Take back the Senate? Hell, let’s clean the House. The only cure for snacilbupeR st00pid is retirement.
10Poor old Pete. He’s not quite in the same padded cell as Louie but they are surely close neighbors. You sure can grow some er interesting congress critters. But why are they still being sent to Congress? I know! Republicans in Texas must swear to drink water used in fracking at least three times a day
11I suggest all wingnuts go back to kindergarten and be forced to watch Sesame Street so they finally learn how to be polite and get along well with others.
12JJ, I’m betting VarmintPete has never been to a nightclub in his life.
13Wait, what? Sonny and Cher broke up???
14PKM-my deepest condo-lenses to you and yours sinc e both Angle and Fiore lost their primaries, their secondaries and their goofy flight feathers all in one fell electoral swoop.
15e platypus onion 😀
Wonkette enjoyed their losses, too.

The good news is that NV may be returning Blue this year. Danny Tarkanian’s win is a good sign. He’s lost 5-6 times, because Democrats like him which means the Tea Bags hold him 3 steps below a RINO.
The race for Harry Reid’s seat will be close. Too much Koch money trying to swamp the Democratic candidate. But the thought of “Senator” Joe Heck is an abomination; we’ll be working hard to keep that from happening.
Your turn, Texas. Time to replace your snacilbupeR with some sane folks.
16@Rastybob
17It was the Rethug hat trick. Two groups they hate killed by the group they blame all the problems on. I can see it now: “If the gays and Latinos had voted republican, we could have protected them from the Muslim.”
PKM: You mentioned John Boehner. Some wag on the web made me laugh with this:
Somewhere John Boehner is sitting on a beach laughing his butt off.
18Tilphousia–I worked for more than 20 years in the petroleum engineering department of a major university, and I know what’s in the frac water. Most of it is entirely drinkable (that’s really why fracking is a huge threat to our survival: it’s sucking up the potable water and its transport is wrecking our roads), and it couldn’t *begin* to explain the damaged brain cells these folks suffer.
19“Y’all, Pete is goofy. And there’s just too many minorities for him to keep up with them”
well, in fairness, sometimes it helps to have a scorecard. 🙂
20I never thought I’d say this:
John Boner may have been the smartest snacilbupeR in the House.
21Okay y’all. Here is a Republican (No, not a snacilbupeR.), who gets it about Orlando. I like him. Yes, I said it. I like this Republican lt. gov. of Utah. It’s because of this little speech he gave regarding Orlando. You want to listen to it, or at least read the transcript. Trust me.

22Everyone over the age of sixty knows that “gay” means wildly happy. Y’all jist leave him be. He ain’t comfortable with a dictionary of any sort.
23If I’m not mistaken, Pistol Pete made these remarks as he was yet again Blocking the Maloney Amndmt. Denying me Discrimination Protections…In the same Dang week as 49 “Fearfully and wonderfully Made” folks lost their lives because of the very same hate that he calls on when continually denying my rights. I AM DONE with these yokels.(Wish I could be humorous here, but-this is just not the week.)
24Wait! Sonny and Cher broke up?!?!?
25Very touching speech, Debbo. I sent it to Master Cory-especially the paragraph detailing white privilege that certain numbnuts of the wingnut persuasion swear doesn’t exist.
26I’m not understanding why whether the club was gay or not is an issue at all. I think all the shooting and killing is what matters here rather than defining the venue.
