Nobody Ever Talks About The Upside of Slavery
Take a deep breath first …. okay, now read.
“As long as you come here legally and get a proper job . . . we need immigrants. Who’s going to vacuum our living rooms and clean up after us? Americans don’t like to do that.”
Ivana Trump
Donald’s New Political Advisor
Just let her keep talking. In fact, just let all the Drumpfs talk all they want. Right up until Election Day.
1At least that explains why Donnie Drumpf’s head didn’t explode when $arah spoke. That’s how he likes his women; as dumb as he is, if not dumber.
2BarbinDC, let ALL the snacilbupeR keep talking. Now that brilliant ALEC Ksuchasheis wants my grandparents to sleep in tents in sub-zero weather to protest social security.
Tell me again why anyone should ever vote nacilbupeR?
3Wasn’t Ivan an immigrant. I guess her job was cleaning up after Donald or something.
4Can’t spell Ivana
5There’s only one cure for the Ivana Trumps of the world.
And that’s to do what Fidel Castro did in Cuba fifty-odd years ago: take away their toys and make them actually work for a living for a change.
In Ivana’s case, make her vacuum the floors and scrub the toilets. For someone else. Preferably in a homeless shelter. Or face starvation.
A few months of that might adjust her attitude a tiny wee bit.
6Speaks to a very small, very selective constituency. Too small I think to elect a POTUS by itself. To whom do they turn???
7Is anybody else hearing faint Mitt Romney echoes…?
Scott, good idea.
8Scott Bidstrup, send Ivana back to wherever she came from to change dressings, diapers and clean toilets in a state run orphanage. Then, when she gets her head out of Donnie’s drumpf, she can apply for a US visa.
9My personal opinion is that I would prefer Trump to not crash and burn. That means we would get Cruz as the nominee. Trump is an idiot and would be a disaster, but Cruz would put an end to our world. We can beat Trump. Cruz, and even Kasich would be much harder.
10JanK, with any luck Heidi will take care of the Loathsome Ted, once the ghost of the DC Madam’s phone book strikes. As for ALEC Ksuchasheis, I trust either HRC or Bernie to tie the Koch brothers around his neck in a suitable noose. As for any RNC ‘parachute candidate’ suspect the Drumpf supporters to greet any such landing with pitchforks and bonfires. Those are some seriously disturbed people.
And, no Jeb(?) that’s not applause you hear. Just forget it. ‘K?
11Ivana came from Czechloslovakia to Canada after the break up of her first marriage. She had claimed to be an alternate on the Czech 1972 Olympic ski team, but officials have no record of that. She earned a masters degree in physical education, which qualified her to be a gym teacher. She moved to Canada, living with a man she knew from Czecholovakia and helping with his sports clothing store. She migrated to New York, met Drumpf and the rest is history (Marla Maples, Melania) She never had to clean toilets again, which she thinks, qualifies her to speak about the lack of good help. Her motto is, “Don’t get mad, get everything.”
12“Who’s going to vacuum our living rooms and clean up after us? Americans don’t like to do that.”
Deep Thoughts From The 1%.
(I wonder if I can hire a legal immigrant to listen to Deep Thoughts From The 1% for me. It’s not something I care to do)
13My theory on wanting to be rich is basically going back to your childhood where “Mother” did everything for you, except you would be able to control things, like having to go shopping, visit, etc. unlike when your mother decided. I don’t see much difference here. The toys are different but they are still toys.
14As long as you come here legally and get a proper job . . . we need immigrants. Who’s going to (MARRY TRUMP)? Americans don’t like to do that.”
15Ivana makes Sister Mitt look positively egalitarian. Never will forget the story about how Sarah Palin lied to her husband about going grocery shopping & went instead to an Ivana appearance at an Alaska department store–seems she was desperate for some “culture.”
16Ivana was well known as a “needler” and rather sarcastic. Living with El Donaldo, it may have been her form of defensive humor.
17About the only way to be more out of touch with real humans would be to live on Mars.
Let’s tell the 1% that there are “tremendous riches” on Mars on a first come – first served basis. Then the Drumpfs, Rmoneys, Kochs, Adelsons, and other 1% subhumans can jump on a spacecraft and race each other there!
18I wish I hadn’t eaten before I clicked the link, but that’s the NY Post for you.
19Doesn’t everyone have an immigrant housekeeper these days? Uh, no.
20Boy, how did Trump let that one get away? Sounds like a soul-mate.
21Yes, Ivana, and “they” also work the fields for the fruits and vegetables you eat. Who better embodies the “stupid bag of hair” reference, than bouffant Ivana.
22Myrna, speaking of fruits and vegetables, if Ivana never made it out of the Old World, she would be digging rutabagas.
23Let them eat cake.
24But gluten free.
25Ivana, poor rich little immigrant. Well I do agree that she should have to live by cleaning toilets, scrubbing floors, mowing lawns, washing windows et al. All of the tasks we Americans do every single day. Year in. Year out. 99% of us don’t have anyone to do our work for us, few complain they just do what must be done. Quite whining! Ivana and frumpy trump deserve one another. They should find a nice desert island go there and do us all a favor by staying there.
26Just like her ex-husband, Ivana lives in an alternate reality where all Americans are wealthy and can afford to have domestic help. The concept that most of us have to vacuum, cook, dust and in general, clean up after our own selves would make her head explode.
27“americans don’t want these jobs”
28what a lie this is.
i don’t mind cleaning houses in the least, the trouble is that hiring of this work is racially ghettoized; in texas, where i grew up, a white person can’t get a job as maid or construction worker. nothing wrong with these jobs. i’d take them myself, and have, in new england, where i live now. i was proud to clean toilets. i was not proud to do it at 7.50/hr; i felt i was being exploited. i don’t think it is unreasonable to demand that your fulltime minimum wage job pays enough to cover the bills in the country of your residence.
I know damn well who’s going to vacuum my living room. My wife doesn’t like doing it, so she yells for me when it needs doing. And she’s not about to pay anyone else to do it.
29Definite echoes of both Marie Antoinette and the Romneys as well as the rich white GOP women of the NE who talked about “nails ladies.”
