Because There’s Money In Them There Dallas

January 21, 2016 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Alfredo over at the Dairy Queen found us a sassy little Super PAC this morning.

It’s called Stop & Think, Inc. and offers no clue who they plan on supporting with their big Dallas dollars or who even hides behind the post office box where they receive their campaign donations and pornography.

Or so they think …

But if you look closely, you’ll see that there treasurer is a whole different can of worms.

That address comes back to an attorney at Clark Hill, PLC. –  the same law firm running all of Bush’s Right to Rise political committees.

So yeah, they named it very properly.  You need to Stop & Think before you send these guys any money.  They are a real piece of work.  And, they got pretty famous for out-and-out lying about Bush.

But most merry-making of all is that they have spent $39 million dollars of Republican money and can’t get Jeb! above 7%.

You know, whoever named Bush’s PAC “Right to Rise” which strongly insinuates that Bush has a birthright to the office, probably also came up with Stop & Think, which reminds you what a waste it would be to give him any more money.  Way to go, Vultures!

Thanks to Alfredo for the very cool heads up.

“Right to Rise” sounds like the title of a zombie movie.

  2. Would have been more accurate if they left out and.

Stop think is their goal. If anyone stopped TO think, they’d be SOL.

Maybe not. It could be connected to the Wright Amendment:

  4. I’m confused.

I can certainly see “Stop” as the motto for Bush or House Repubs or basically any Repub politician.

But the only way “Rise” would apply is that scum rises to the top.

While working in DeeCee many moon ago, I was called to a meeting at a PR agency not far away. They were tasked with creating a new campaign for the Aluminum Can Association to promote recycling. They came up with this:

Bring Your Can to Church Day. (Swear to God.)

I’m assuming Jeb! hired the same people.

In the meantime, my SuperPAC, “Mexicans for Trump” is hardly getting any donations. I just can’t understand why.

New poll out: Across the spectrum Trump’s negative numbers are yuuugee! Evil grin.

  8. Polite Kool Marxist says:

However successful I become, there will never be enough money to spread among all the good causes deserving of support. Who has money to throw away like this? Somewhere between 0-10% of Super-PAC money is actually spent to elect candidates. That’s why we donate directly to the candidates and not the DNC or other triangulating organizations.

If ever we were to donate to a Super-Pac, at least we would be selective and donate to Micr’s, since we know he’s a decent guy even if he isn’t running for anything at the moment.

  9. “Right to rise” is as close to prophetic as the exclamation point is ever gonna get.

  10. WA Skeptic says:

Once Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert exposed the complete criminality of Super-PACs, I decided it would just be a matter of time before real crooks (not just politicians) took advantage of all the free money.

    Didn’t take long, did it?

    Who’s treasurer? “there treasurer”?
