My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.

On the other hand, we cannot make a dumbazz cracker smart. But for that there are several good reasons to try, foremost being after repeated failures, maybe we can stick a fork in them.

So he claims this was a “clunky choice of words.” And the speaker of the house said his words were “racially insensitive” and might be a “teaching moment.”
I doubt it. This guy is way beyond teaching. The voters may take a teaching moment from it, however, and get rid of this guy? Except, of course, for those who agree with him that it’s these kids’ fault for not being white. Sadly, there are still plenty of people who will be MORE likely to vote for him next year as a result of these words and his absolute refusal to take responsibility for what came out of his mouth.

15To my immense regret, he is the state legislator in my district of Troy. His father was our US Representative (before he was defeated by Gary Peters – now Senator Peters – in 2010). He is an insurance shyster, bigot, one of the stupidest people around, and probably will be carried out of office in a coffin with the way this district votes.
Sadly, I am afraid that Michigan aspires to be the Texas of the north. Or maybe the Mississippi of the north.
