One More Down.

There will be a new empty space at the next GOP debate — Bobby Jindal has faced the big reality boogaloo and will be dashing his hopes of being president.

The kiddie table is emptying nicely.

  2. Carson has advisers? I thought Jesus just whispered into Ben’s left ear.

  3. If Carson’s advisers are terrified that he might win, at least we have something in common. Some of that reminds me of Palin.

I’ve heard too many times that a Democratic nominee is “too smart to be President.” I have also seen evidence that a GOP nominee or candidate is too dim or ignorant to be president. Oddly I’ve never seen either one go the other way.

  4. I guess Jindal figured he didn’t have much elbow room to work the anti-refugee grift. After today’s interview with Dana Bash, Ted Cruz is dog meat. Carson’s a walking liability.

Should I play Ann Coulter and say Trump just won the Republican nomination? No. it still sounds too stupid to be true.

  5. Polite Kool Marxist says:

LynnN, not just any advisers, but Armstrong Williams to name one.

  6. Susan on the Left Coast says:

One less bell to answer, one less samosa to fry. Jindal says “it’s not his time” now but it was God who told him and several of his cohorts to head to the White House! This chatty god of theirs is a tricksy one!

I don’t think Mr. Magoo aka Carson will drop out soon. His ego is blinding his ability to see the light.

  7. Ralph Wiggam says:

But, but, but. . . I thought we were going to send Carson to Paris to rush the gun men so nobody got killed.

  8. Irish in S.C. says:

It has never occurred to me that anyone could be to stupid for the republican party. Is it possible to be dumber than W.
I’ve always thought that a stupid president made a great rubber stamp man.

  9. Thank you, Captain Obvious. They are just now realizing this?

  10. WA Skeptic says:

    Jindal gone??? Oh, good.

Let’s hope someone else decides that Carson is too close to being a Palin-bot to be electable. Or maybe that’s his appeal.

Good grief. I KNOW Republicans used to have intelligent people in their ranks, I just know it. A long long time ago….

  11. That Other Jean says:

Mr. Carson’s advisers are not alone in being terrified. I’m right there with them. Now if the rest of the advisers to the passengers in the Klown Kar would come to the same conclusion about their candidates, and admit it, we might get a President who knows what she/he is doing in the next election.

  12. Fenway Fran says:

It will NEVER be his time. Meanwhile, Ms. Lindsey is stepping it up…he sees his name in lights at the end of the Klown Kar tunnel.

  13. I have a suggestion for the Republican debates. As so many candidates have started withdraw from the race, perhaps it would be appropriate to present a fitting tribute to the fallen at the midpoint during the debates.

Like the “In Memoriam” segment during the Academy Awards, large photos of Jindal, Walker, Santorum, etc could be shown on a screen behind the remaining candidates with an appropriate song to convey the poignancy of the moment, such as Queen’s Another One Bites The Dust.

Pardon me for quoting Dick Cheney: “So?”

  15. Of course it’s not his time. It’s the year 2015, not the year 1815.

  16. Rick – as each Klown drops out, Stephen Colbert is doing a wonderful Hunger Games parody on his show.
