If a Duck Had His Brains, It Would Fly West In The Winter

September 30, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Please allow me to introduce Wisconsin Republican Representative Glenn Grothman, a man who cannot understand why we even need Planned Parenthood.

“As a guy, I could go to many clinics locally that have all the machines that one would need,” Grothmann said. “All these clinics, as far as I know, take Medicaid dollars, so you could go to any of those clinics to get any medical service you could.”

He said poor women might not even notice if Congress cut funding and the health care organization went out of business.

I gotta show ya a picture of this guy.

Glenn_Grothman_official_congressional_photoThat is the whitest rich guy in Wisconsin.  That guy is so white that they calibrate laundry detergent against him.  He glows in the damn dark. There is snow darker than that.

He has a net worth estimated to be $1,580,000. A rich white guy can go anywhere and get medical care, you damn fool.

Grothman is 60 years old, has never been married and does not have any children. He don’t need no damn Planned Parenthood so you shouldn’t either.

Grothman once claimed that modern women were choosing to have children out of wedlock and “we should educate women that this is a mistake.” First of all, isn’t that exactly what Planned Parenthood does, educate woman? Second of all, if there is not a law preventing a single white male with no children from telling women when, where, and how they should have a baby, there should be, dammit.

Additionally, this dope thinks all poor women are on Medicaid. If they live in Texas, they sure aren’t. And, women without health insurance but who don’t qualify for Medicaid need health services.

Boy howdy, he really hates women.

I am certain that the feeling is mutual.

Thanks to Elizabeth for the heads up.

Be social and share!

  1. This fool has a lot of company, judging by the statements and questions from the repug members on the committee persecuting Cecile Richards, CEO of Planned Parenthood.
Ann Richards would be proud of her daughter’s ability to stuff the facts down their ignorant throats.

    1
  2. Thanks, maryelle. I didn’t realize Cecile Richards, one of my heras, is Ann’s daughter.

    2
  3. One of those morons asked her if she expected to get softer treatment because she was a woman. She answered, “My Mama didn’t raise me that way.” Don’t know how she kept her cool.

    3
  4. What do you mean Grothman doesn’t like women? Why some of his best friends are women. He’s even on first name basis with the upstairs maid for heavens sake.

    4
  5. Perhaps Wisconsin and Scott Walker deserve each other. Much has been bemoaned on how Walker fooled so many people and that was largely due to Koch money but if they have elected this fool to office and others perhaps the good people of Wisconsin are in deeper trouble than just Walker.

If reasoning republicans watched that commitee meeting, they would switch parties just to avoid the stigma of stupid.

Unfortunately, I have not met a reasoning republican in many, many years.

Marsha Blackheartburn of Tennessee is gathering a select committee of wingnuts to investigate legal Planned Parenthood practices. Wingnut Kevin McCarthy of Calif. admitted Benghazi was an excuse to hurt Hillary’s chances for the presidency and plans to do the same with the PP select committee. McCarthy is one of two in line for the SOH seat.

    7
  8. This makes as much sense as supposedly celibate priests and bishops, all men, telling women not to use birth control.

    When mermaids make shoes, buster.

  9. Hippie Cowboy says:

Are y’all sure Glenn Grothman isn’t from Texas? I’m a 64-year-old self-employed female who can’t afford any kind of health insurance in Texas because the Repugs…well, because OF the Repugs. I’m so “poor” that I got an exemption from paying the penalty on my 2014 Federal IRS taxes, and the official statement from the Department of Health and Human Services says (in print!) “the new federal health care law provides that you could be eligible for free or low cost health care through Medicaid. However, the state of TX has chosen not to offer you this new health care coverage at this time.”

So, you see, Glenn Grothman is just WRONG! All poor women are NOT on Medicaid. And he and his kind are working hard to make sure they’re (we’re) NOT! x!@*# (expletive symbolized out of respect for Moma).

    9
  10. Wow! You hit the trifecta with McMillan, Ryan, and Grothman. Guys like these make me ashamed to be a man. Hypocritical is not even close to what these guys are.

    10
  11. Women are having children out of wedlock but men aren’t? Truly miraculous. He’s an idjit.

  12. Pollytiques says:

I bet his personal life couldn’t stand a true investigation judging by so many “republicans” habits. I read where the pervert Dennis Hastert is finally due for his slap on the wrist and reward.

    12
  13. Glenn Grothman has no brains. He is, in other words, a Republican.

    13
  14. Thanks Merry, I was going to comment on these out of wedlock babies that women mysteriously hatch by themselves. It’s a miracle!!!

  17. Wanker, and now this guy, Gross Man, are despicable sleeze balls.

    17
  18. Almost all of the controverted funding to PP is straight forward Medicaid reimbursement, which means that you would have to cut all providers (which raises the old bug v. feature conundrum).

    18
  19. People like this neanderthal think PP gets bags of money delivered to the Richards home. He is a cartoon– it wonders me that people actually elect idiots, but that includes so many, that I believe it might be a requirement in the GOTP handbook for politicians. The inquisition was shameless. So many morons, so little time…I know this joker has been in the news before. One can’t forget that doofus face. And to think that Kevin (Public speaker that he ain’t–) McCarthy is considered a step up from Gross Man… yep, it wonders me…

    19
  20. I can’t think of anything polite to say here, so I think I’ll just go read the next one. Grrrrr.

Another Republican who uses his personality for birth control.

    21
  22. e platypus onion I agree. Plus the wingnut language of Hate and Take is already difficult enough for most ears.

    22
  23. This Grothman a@@hole really is as stupid and nasty as y’all think, and then some.
But then he comes from a state that has ‘elected’ Snot Wanker as guv, R. Johnson (from the J&J clan) as US Senator, supermajorities of RWNJ’s every bit as whacked as Mr. G in both state lege houses, and a State Supreme Court justice who acquired the nickname “Choker” for having lunged over his desk and grabbing another Supreme Court justice, a WOMAN, by the throat and attempting to choke the livin’ chit out of her.

I’m beginning to worry about the genetic fitness of the USA, these defectives are in control of a majority of our local, state, and federal governments.
Does that not worry the chit out of the citizenry?

We have lost a tremendous amount of global advantage in many areas in the last decade and a half, corresponding to the acquisition of power by these cretins from dumbed down, panicked ‘voters’. Bin Laden won. Thanks W.

    23
  24. Correction:
The raving mad Supreme, David Prosser, was in the victim justice’s office when he allegedly throttled Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson.
Prosser was also ‘re-elected’ in a very sketchy manner, and has a long history of acting like a second grade tantrum thrower.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Prosser,_Jr.

“Altercations with other justices[edit]During a closed-door debate between the justices on February 10, 2010, Prosser called Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson “a total bitch” and threatened to “destroy her”.[37]
…Prosser denied he choked Bradley saying, “claims made to the media will be proven false.” Bradley then made a public statement saying that Prosser, “put his hands around my neck in anger in a chokehold”, as she was asking him to leave her office.[40][41][42][43][44]”

Follow the Wiki link, he’s got lots more interesting history.

  25. With apologies to Ian Fleming, “Surround yourself with human beings,” Glenn. “They are easier to fight for than principles.”

    25
  26. e platypus onion says:

Sandridge,in fairness Prosser swears that Abrahamson fell into his hands and he just caught her. Another wingnut justice that was in the room swears nothing at all happened.

  29. Sandridge, back before 9-11 it was widely known that the war in Afghanistan helped to bring down the Soviet Union by engaging them in a war they could not win but would bankrupt them and cost them people and equipment. We helped Bin Laden do this and couldn’t be prouder until 9-11 when one of the dumbest men on this planet did it all over again. Bin Laden initially believed he made an error because although he made money on our stock market on 9-11 had W kept the war short and focused on Afghanistan it might have ended a draw but the idiots Bush & Cheney invaded Iraq and that allowed bin Laden to recruit unlimited “soldiers” and effect his plan of bleeding the US of soldiers, equipment and most of all billions of dollars. Now ask yourself if a 66 year old woman with a mere BA earned eons ago knew this why couldn’t all the “smart guys” at least raise this as a possibility?

    29
  30. Bush and his brain, Cheney, were told just that, Marlene, but they, especially Cheney, decided the naysayers were a bunch of poofies. Real Republicans draw blood.

A friend of mine posted on Twitter that she wanted to know where Grothman got his Pap smear and what he was doing about his menopause because clearly it was driving him crazy. I forget how she crammed all that into 140 characters, but the meaning was clear.

    32
  33. I am employed at UW-Madison. It’s like working in a remote lighthouse on a very, very dark night. The amount of misinformation and outright lies with which Grothman and the rest of the Tealiban carpet-bombed the state of Wisconsin is stunning. The scary thing is, for quite a few folks, the stupid stuck.

Me too, short answer: $$$$$$$ + idiot flawed corrosive ideology of the RW.
I too saw it coming, spoke out, was pilloried for it (even had me and my family threatened, by my extreme RWNJ brother).
BTW, the cost isn’t just “billions”, it is Trillions, plus trillions more in lost opportunities as I hinted.
If only Whittington had been the bad shot…
