Deleon Smith, who lives right here in Texas, was taking selfies to post online to show what a cool dude he is, being as how he has a gun and all.
He, of course, shot himself. He died.
The victim’s family told CBS Houston affiliate KHOU-TV that Smith is survived by two young daughters and that he was a fun-loving person.
Obviously.

1Obviously the camera flash startled the gun making it go off on its own volition.
2Another Darwin award winner, willing to die for his 2nd amendment right to kill himself. They know not what they do.

The Darwin theory isn’t quite correct – he already had two kids. He was 19 – with two kids. My guess is he would have had many more otherwise. I saw that movie “Idiocracy”.

Sometimes things get fixed “ATF”, after the fact.
Sad that he transmitted stoopid into the next generation, as apparently he was irresponsible with sex before he was irresponsible with a handgun. His irresponsibility with the latter prevents his further irresponsibility with the former.
5Guns don’t kill people. Phones with cameras kill people.
6Daughters, with that extra X chromosome, may not have inherited the kind of stupid that thinks playing with guns is just more fun than anything.
Let’s not condemn the daughters until they’re grown.

8So this guy’s daughters grow up fatherless because he used a gun to take a selfie. I honestly don’t know whether to feel sorry for them or relieved. It is possible they might receive better parental guidance without him.
I’m still sorry for their loss though – at least in the short run.

10Unfortunately, yesterday in Pittsburgh, a 2 year old boy was shot and killed while the mother’s boyfriend was “unloading” it.
11He’s being charged with murder and endangering the welfare of a child. The innocents suffer from the adults’ negligence and stupidity.
How many more America? What’s it gonna take? When it doesn’t motivate you when children get blown away, don’t come to me crying about abortion. M’kay?

14Hmmm. I’d say it all depends on whether or not those two children even knew their biological donor. Ten to one they have no real memory to carry forward into the years. I know that sounds sad, but considering just how s.t.o.o.p.i.d. he was, might be a good thing.

18This is tragic, because there are kids and at least one baby mama affected by it. It sounds like he was just an overgrown kid himself. And the media makes guns look so fun and cool to mess with. Since he apparently didn’t own the gun, he had no clue how reckless and dangerous playing around with it actually was. He’d obviously had no training.
Yeah, this guy was pretty dumb. But he didn’t deserve to die for it.
