Ted Cruz seems damned and determined to prove to you that he’s a psychopath.
First, he takes a cheap shot at Joe Biden the day after Biden buried his son.
Now, he’s decided it’s exactly the right time to take another cheap shot – at Jimmy Carter.
In his “soapbox” remarks at the Iowa State Fair on Friday, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz criticized Jimmy Carter’s presidency – a day after Carter’s moving public admission about his cancer.
You know that part of your brain where human compassion lives? Cruz sold his for five minutes of fame.

7While I was staying with my realtor and her husband while my apartment at the senior high rise here in town was being readied for my moving in, I made the comment about Cruz that I thought he was an idiot, because the only thing they watch is Faux Snooze, and his mug was on the TV at the moment and to my great surprise and disgust, my Realtor Susan said: “I actually like what he has to say!”

Conservative Republicans, Christians [well, they did let me stay for almost a month at their place – rent free]. But they watch NO “real” TV or News except for what they get on their phones.
She did get buyers for my mobilehome finally, but it was really uncomfortable to stay at their place knowing they think Teddy Cruz is A-OK. I didn’t dare venture into T-Rump land with them!!

I am damn proud that the first person I could cast my vote for President of the USA at the know everything age of 18 was Jimmy Carter. I have never regretted it,and as he continued to show this country and the world was a truly class act he is as a humanitarian,I am so glad I voted for him in both elections. I only wish he had won against Saint Ronnie,because I think our country and its’ politics would be at a different place today!
19On most levels it’s difficult to fathom. We are talking about the most difficult job in the world. It takes tons of character, patience, intelligence, and wisdom. Riders of the GOP clown car seem determined to show that they do not have any of those things and yet the poll numbers go up each time.

Surely even an inhuman idiot like Ted Cruz must realize that Jimmy Carter isn’t running for President this time around. It’s been a long time now, and a great number of voters have no memory whatsoever of Carter’s presidency, but what all Americans do know is that President Carter is a far, far better man than Cruz could ever hope to be. Cruz isn’t just a loser as a politician — he’s a loser as a human being.
21I don’t agree that Cruz is a psychopath. I believe he is a sociopath. A psyco would go out and actually DO the things Cruz seems to promote … a sociopath would manipulate others to do it, therefore staying “clean”. Under it all,though, he is a dirty as they come.
22Linda, The DSM, the “book” for psychologists, psychiatrists and admitting doctors in the ER, would agree with you. The Sociopath still has a glimmer of a conscience, however low the light, but chooses to over-ride it.
23Cruz can tout his Christian faith all he wants, but a true Christian does not elevate himself by putting others down. A true Christian loves others as himself. He is a hollow shell of a human being.
24Did you see where Cruz was the favorite at the Koch Party convention over the weekend. There were 3000 people there who, when I was a kid, would have been in the state mental hospitals. Thank you Ronnie Raygun for ending the mental hospitals.
25I was an idiot at 18 and a registered repig but voted for Anderson in 1976. In 1980 I voted for President Carter and continued my losing streak voting for President until President Clinton so that makes me 4 and 6. Sigh…
