It was a 5-4 decision but we’ll take it!

Houston’s Pride Parade is in downtown tomorrow.  If you’re anywhere in the area, you might want to go there.  It is always a blast and I imagine this year will be extra special.

From Kennedy’s opinion —

And on a note to those who think “traditional marriage” and abstinence is the best:  Your crown princess of family values, Bristol Palin, is pregers again and Newt Gingrich is still a whore.

Let the happiness begin again.

Be social and share!

  1. You know what prevents pregnancy quite effectively? Gay sex. Perhaps Bristol needs to find herself a lovely wife.

Obama be coming around to take your spouse as well as your guns. R U gonna sit there and allow this usurper to take your constitutionally protected spouse? Only if he promises not to give her/him back?

Justice Kennedy’s description of marriage is that to which we all aspire, but unfortunately too many of us heterosexuals fall terribly short. It requires a maturity and selflessness which is in scarce supply. If our marriages are threatened, we need only look in the mirror, not at gay marriage.

    Meanwhile…
Tom Green County Justice of the Peace Pct. 4 Eddie Howard sent Elizabeth McGill, County Clerk of Tom Green County, a memo informing her that he will no longer officiate marriages of any kind: Gay or straight. Howard wrote in his memo that the law only instructs him that he “may” perform a marriage ceremony, not that he “will”. In light of today’s ruling forcing the recognition of same-sex marriage on all 50 states, Howard threw in the towel on marriage altogether.

As he noted, “It’s hard to believes that gays achieved full constitutional personhood just five years after corporations did.”
