Nine to Five

Juanita has some close friends who are labor union Democrats.  When she hears about doing away with the minimum wage, she gets so hot that we have to throw water on her to keep her from combusting and making a mess of curls, fingernails, and garter belts that would take months to clean up.

So, she was glad to see that there’s one central place where you can see which businesses in your neighborhood are laying off while their CEO’s are buying another yacht, violating health and safety standards, shipping jobs overseas, or thumbing their noses at labor laws.  It’s right here.

She is grateful to Carl for sending it, and reminds you that if Republicans win this election you can kiss paid vacations, the 40 hour workweek and safe working conditions goodbye.  The Chamber of Commerce is doing their damnest to bring back sweatshops and even has foreign help to do it.

“Electing Republicans in 2010 is like having a cockroach in the control panel of a nuclear power plant.  Nothing good can come it,” Juanita says.  “We’re skating on warm ice as it is, and we sure don’t need Republicans to light another fire on the lake.”
