Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Somebody somewhere will yell about the insensitivity of showing Abbot in a wheel chair. That’s*real* discrimination!
1Like Bennett’s. Succinct, and covers all the bases. We Just. Don’t. Learn.
2Rolling Blunder.
3Wow! Bennett’s visual of the explosive made up of poverty, oppression and desperation nails it.
4Foxy wingnuts…wasn’t going to happen but when it doesn’t, they’ll be back claiming their vigilance held ’em off. And speaking from my wheelchair, seems to me that the weepers about Abbot’s chariot do their whinning while standing on two feet.
5Luckovich nails Dubya, yet again. Gotta love the blood-spattered walls……

7Great cartoons.
8Oh, bleep, here I go again with “when I was a pup” . . . I was routinely alerted to the fact that there was a man in a wheelchair in Washington, D.C. saving our country and if he could do it without a pair of functioning legs, then I, healthy child that I was, could certainly make my own bed, hang up my clothes and whatever. I wonder if there is any mother in TX saying the same thing about Abbott?
9Yup, Bennett’s is outstanding. Nailed it.
10Best laugh I’ve had in a long time is the cartoon showing Hillary saying she was sick and tired……..then the chorus sings “Hillarys’ sick and tired”. SNL stuff !
Thanks for the cartoons.
