Dang! Next They’re Going to Tell Me that Sarah Palin Sobered Up, Micke Huckabee Finally Found The Real Jesus, and Rick Perry Got a Library Card.
What’s a girl supposed to do for fun when the Republicans won’t cooperate?
Mitt Romney decided not to run for President again. Dang, I was so looking forward to watching him act like he cares about poor people. And Ann. I will so miss Ann measuring for White House drapes.
So I imagine the remaining ship of fools are stabbing each other in the back over getting Romney’s support. That might be kinda fun!
Rumor has it that Mittens is working on a Stop Bush plan “because a Bush can’t beat a Clinton”. The implication is that he’s going to support that other bully — Chris Christy.
1Don A in Pennsyltucky, I’m not a huge fan of HRC, but it might be worth the price of her as president to observe the Outlaw Jersey Whale attempt to bully her in a debate. It would be the verbal equivalent of the mosquito and the flame thrower. She’ll bore him with festering little bites, while he fries his own feet and never touches her with his flames.
2I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. It’s no longer a clown car that the GOP needs to hold the candidates in. It’s a friggin’ Clown Greyhound Bus now.
3Whom would you rather have as the leader of the free world,
4Bully Boy, Bush Baby or an eminently qualified, former First Lady, former Senator and former Secretary of State? Duh.
maryelle, yes, it’s no brainer, if those are the only 3 choices. Then, I hold my nose and punch HRC’s ticket.
But with two years available to do a sweep of potential Democrats, I’m willing to do the research to find an electable Democrat who isn’t a PNAC, DINO war hawk. I don’t feel alone; Obama beat her in the Democratic primaries.
I’m really not an ageist, so I would give consideration to Biden, Kerry, Sanders and Howard Dean. But the job really is a killer; look at the file footage of both young Presidents, Kennedy and Obama.
Two words: Rich Whitney.
5I admit I’d vote for the Democrat if it were Minnie Mouse, but I still worry that people are going to be sick and tired of HRC before the primaries get underway.
6Rhea, I was sick of her, when as senator she signed onto PNAC and supported the Iraq war. But, am prepared to wear nose plugs to the voting booth if we don’t find an electable Democrat by early fall this year.
Latest joke poll making the rounds, attempting to clean it up in respect to Mama. Maybe Mrs. B. will weigh in with a link to the full version with a better translation.
Poll: in the shower soaping up, who would you trust most behind you, Hillary or Bill?
Results: More questions than answers. No one cared if Bill still could; they wanted to know if Hillary had a knife.

8That’s why I might have voted for Hillary in 2008. The POTUS is required to allow the doing of some really nasty stuff so the rest of us can live the American Dream. As an aside, The weight of that experience accounts in my opinion for the aging in the extreme you see in Bill and Obama and others. (Oddly not so much in W or Reagan.) In any case I think Hillary is better prepared than most to deal with those aspects of the job.
My first thought on hearing that Romney had announced he would not run was “He’s pulled a Palin!” That requires coyly pretending that he/she is planning to run for the Presidency, then even more coyly withdrawing. We’re lucky he didn’t wink at us.
Hey, Mitt. Here’s your hat–what’s your hurry?
9Micr, I’m not so young/naive to believe that there are not some really crappy bargains that are needed to keep our government functional, both nationally and internationally.
I totally agree with you that HRC is better prepared than any Republican for the job of president.
But given the Clown Car of Republicans ready to drive over the cliff in 2016, I think the Democratic Party can do better than HRC and win the election with a real mandate from the voters.
You know how much I respect your opinion, Micr, so I would love to hear your thoughts on Rich Whitney.
Remembering the cellphone that delivered Mitt and his 47% blooper, am so hoping there is audio of what Jebbie and Mittie agreed upon. Better yet, who held $$$ guns to both their heads. That is the Koch/GOP story that needs telling.
10@PKM
I hope my comment didn’t insinuate naiveté on your part or that of any other reader. Maybe I grasped the obvious for a moment and just held on. In any case I meant that Obama’s candidacy made me lose what interest I had in Hilary in 2008.
I look forward to a vetting in the Dem primaries that puts a winner at the top of the ticket. A St George ready willing and able to slay the Tea-hadist dragon.
I could not care less than I already dont about who the GOP puts up. They can resurrect Reagan or another dead white guy. Or pick the beached NJ whale. Makes no difference.
I’d like to campaign FOR a candidate, but in 2016 I’m sure I’ll be campaigning AGAINST the GOP at every opportunity. “The hand that cradles the rock” etc.
Now so far as Rich Whitney is concerned. After reading your 7:52 comment I went to the interweb world wide thingy cause I never heard of Rich Whitney. He has some of the right boxes checked. I wish he was younger. I wish he had polled more in his two races. I wish he was not a third party candidate, because aside from the T Party taking over the GOP, third parties die young. OTOH there is something there to like. So the questions on the table are can he find support within the larger Dem party? Can he run enough of the table in the spring and summer to be viable in fall? My gut feel is “No”. But I have been wrong on that point too.
11OK, former FLOTUS, Senator and Secretary of State. That is all really, really good and none of the rest of the field on either side can match that. But what really wows me about Hill is the fact that she had brothers. Statistically, the lone girl in a family of boys is more likely to be a Cage Fighter. Gimme that any day!
12Micr, I have no doubt why Clinton and Obama aged in in the WH much more than Reagan or Baby Bush: they did actual work and knew what they were up against. The other two just whizzed through, happy as if they had good sense.
13amazing what you learn from faux views
14Micr, worry not; there were no insinuations, implications nor insult taken. Was just merely alluding to my quickly passing youth that has taken us from HRC to Obama and back to HRC, again.
You are great, Micr and thanks for doing your homework on Rich. You make great points!
I’m still looking for a Dem that can run the table. Another name that comes to mind is Ross Miller, a Nevada local. He’s good and he’s polished. His family is solid Democratic all the way.
Of course we must respect the ladies, so who is rising besides the mayor of Baltimore? Our national media sucks so bad, I rely on the WMDBS, Inc. for options of possible candidates.

…Reagan or Baby Bush… just whizzed through…
Yeah, “whizzed”, and we all got ‘trickled down’ on. That’s one thing the GOPosaurs are damned good at, whizzing on everybody else (the 47-95%’ers anyway).
16I’d like to stay dry from now on.
