Yeah, Buddy
Yeah, Buddy, I’m really glad I have this shirt to wear today.
There is a vacuum of leadership in the Democratic Party and she stepped up to fill it. Hillary better watch out – another first term senator may beat her in the primary again.
Thank you, Senator Warren, for being a hooter toter Democrat with more courage than William B Travis.
Any Steny Hoyer and Wasserman Schultz shirts that can be draped over a fence post, while I hurl rotten tomatoes?
1i’d like to see a warren and webb ticket. good balance.
bill
2Senator Warren seems to be a rarity in politics, a straight talking fighter for the middle class. God bless her and the few other Democratic senators who stand with her against this god-awful spending bill.
3I’m up for a Sanders/Warren ticket. Hillary had better get her act together before they steal her thunder (pardon the mixed metaphor).
4Democrats, at all levels, are going to have to make a decision.
Are they going to continue to be “Republican Lite”…. or are they going to be “Democrats”.
Senator Warren, it would seem, has made hers. I hope so.
It’s about time somebody in the Democratic Party ….did.
JMHO.
5After that disgusting display by “cave in Democrats” I make sure, that in describing myself, I underscore liberal labor union Democrat.
6Went a searching in Google and found what ya’ll are talking about. Wow! As Senator Warren has said, she’d much rather be on her committee at this juncture and do something about the abuses than run for Pres.
Article I read at http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/elections/elizabeth-warrens-star-rises-amid-confrontation-n267251 should be read by Hilary herself and acted upon.
I’m getting really cynical though these days, maybe it’s this joyous season () and the special revelations of late.
7I have really mixed feelings about Warren running for President. First, I think that Hillary has a better chance of winning and that is key. We don’t need turmoil in the primary that would end up helping the Repubs.
Pragmatism aside, I have thought that Warren’s best path might be to become the Lioness of the Senate (since we lost our Lion), followed by a position on the Supreme Court. Possibly she could fit a couple of Presidential terms in there as well, but I don’t think she’s the politician that Hillary is and she has never faced anything like the firestorms Hillary has gone through. One wrong comment or action can sink a national candidacy. For now I would rather see Hillary run because of her experience.
8Warren is one of the few people in the Senate that I would break a leg for. I mean it! And yes, its amazing how much she reminds me of the late Lion. With the paucity of women in elected Hill politics, Warren as the Lioness of the Senate would be total magic.
9Senator Warren has already become the Lioness of the Senate. I would love her as president but I am with others, Hillary is the winner at this point in time. Progress has been creeping along my entire life and I am ready for Democrats to be Democrats and represent WE THE PEOPLE. Senator Warren knows more about Wall Street and banking/bankruptcy/debt matters/etc. and can be a powerful voice for us. She runs circles around anyone else in the Senate on financial matters and being a teacher, explains the ‘tricks and traps’ better than anyone.
10This ranks up there with the discovery of water on Mars a few years back.
Signs of intelligent life in Washington D.C.
11Let’s name and vote out the dastardly blue dogs!
“Time For The Democrats To Bid Adieu To The Blue Dogs?”
http://crooksandliars.com/2014/12/time-democrats-bid-adieu-blue-dogs
“Himes and his fellow Wall Street shills have been working on this since last year. The House passed it October 30, 2013 292-122, 70 slime bags from the Republican wing of the Democratic Party joining the GOP to vote for it back then, including not just the Blue Dogs and New Dems who always support the Republicans over working families, but House party leaders like Steny Hoyer (D-MD), Jim Clyburn (D-SC), Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), Joe Crowley (D-NY) and purported “progressives” like Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Nita Lowey (D-NY), Grace Meng (D-NY), Gwen Moore (D-WI) and Charlie Rangel (D-NY).”
Wall Street implant Jim Himes (New Dem-CT) helped write this travesty. Probably a kissing cousin to slow Joe Lieberman and illegitimate son of Wall Street Madame, Blanche Lincoln.
12As much as I have faith that either Warren or Sanders could do well as President, we NEED them on Capitol Hill!
13It’s a simple choice. Warren or Wall Street?
14Love, love, love Warren. Would happily vote for her, but I doubt she could beat Hillary (who I like but don’t love). Hoping that Warren can at least pull Hillary to the left.
15I tell anyone who cares that Eliz Warren is MY Senator, since the electorate of Texas has chosen two toads… Cornyn and Cruz. I was reading an article recently that was discussing whether or not Hillary could relate to the middle class voters any longer since she “has not walked alone” in over 20 years… meaning she has had Secret Service protection, chauffers, etc…. and makes $100K to $300K per speech, has big book deals, etc., ad nauseum. I think it is an interesting observation. I chose to support Obama over Hillary in 2006 or 2007… WAY BACK…. much to the chagrin of numerous girlfriends. I wasn’t up for all the drama of a Hillary Presidential contest against the Rush Limbaugh/Fox Noise Machine. I still don’t think I’m ready for that. Too exhausting to think about. Can you hear Benghazi, Benghazi, White Water-White Water, Obama Administration, Obama Administration, on and on. Ad Nauseum. She just elicits a kneejerk reaction… like Nancy Pelosi… unfair, sexist, and 6 other examples of rightwing obsession.. but nonetheless, exhausting. Hillary’s name alone is like waving a red flag in front of the Republican Bull Corral. I don’t think she is electable. Look at how her book tour went the past few months. Not many shining moments.
16How’d her book tours go? She came to Austin and I heard about it but didn’t go.
17I have the privilege of being one of Senator Warren’s constituents and to have worked for her election.
18I pat myself on the back once in a while because I was a huge fan of Warren’s long before she ran for office. I would hear her explaining credit/financial/consumer laws and problems on various radio programs and be absolutely mesmerized.
She has a rare gift for explaining complex issues without talking down to her audience.
I just about to quit referring to myself as a Democrat and start referring to myself as a Liberal. Or maybe a virulent Anti-Conservative.
Given the political landscape created by ultra Conservatives who now run the GOP, I’m not sure there is a place for Conservatism in the other party.
19Warren is a new idea. Clinton and shrub/heavy are same-same
20-water buffalo. That said I’d like to see any combination with Warren & O’Malley. I still think a rising and successful Senator makes for a poor President. Skill sets are too different to mesh.
I think Clinton has a better chance than Warren of being elected by a majority of US voters, but I’m afraid that by the time actual voting comes around, people will be sick to death of Clinton. She’s been waving around for years already and we have nearly two more bloody years until the next election. These are people with a short attention span, as witness the big GOP vote a year after so many people hated them for shutting down the government for no reason.
