2Shoulda been in place 25 years ago so Dubya coulda been excluded.
3And then can we get a test to see whether aspiring voters have been paying attention? Parroting the ignorance and bigotry of certain media sources would disqualify you. And no, ignorant bigots don’t “deserve representation too.”
4The legislature will pass this bill only if the minimum IQ is set at 50. And that would be a stretch goal for some.

8IQ tests are subjective. I suggest a more objective test. The winning candidate in any election must be able to count up to the total number of votes they receive.

Meanwhile, how about once the digits of their IQ are exceeded by the digits of their age, they must retire, or in many cases be automatically culled from election at an early age. Daffy Cruz, Jr. for example.

13@Mel: Maybe the candidate’s IQ should range about 100 points higher than the candidate’s age. This in reaction to the recent tradition that Texas governors’ IQs shall be about equal to the air temperature of their offices.
