Fun With Guns: Oops Edition

A man faced murder charges on Friday after accidentally shooting his friend while testing a bulletproof vest, the Baltimore police said. Mark Ramiro, 30, was arrested in the shooting of Darnell Mitchell, 28, late on Wednesday. The Baltimore Sun reported on Friday the shooting was recorded on a video camera by a third person. In it, Mr. Mitchell brags that he is about to take a “deuce deuce in the chest” — a shot from a .22-caliber bullet — before he is struck just above the vest.
Ya think alcohol was involved or just copious amounts of dumb?

Some people need to be drunk to be stupid; with others it’s standard equipment… though I’d say getting drunk requires stupidity anyway, so it’s kind of a toss-up.

3I’d bet on equal amounts of booze and stupid. There’s a reason the rest of us refer to folks from there as Baltimorons. Not all of them, maybe, but enough to give the place a reputation.

5These geniuses are on a mission to invent the smart accident. While smart accident might be an oxymoron, they are without a doubt morons. Stage an argument between three idiots as to who is dumbest and they all lose. One lost his life, one ruined his life with a felony and the third has a visual memory more horrible than the recording he made of the scene. Enter the era of the unnecessary stupid tragedies.
6The judge in this case is I guarantee not open to anything more than how closely this case and the law align. There will be no blubbering from the bench for the shooter and possibly some real toxic verbage from his honor who is not paid to be a touchy feely type. Thus begins the just desserts for the defendant. Depending on the length of the sentence I would bet it would take him about 10 years to actually admit that, yeah, he never shuda done it.
7I’ll take that bet, maggie! If this goes to trial, my bet is that, if it reaches the sentencing stage, this fool will be blubbering, when he is given a chance to speak, literally crying “it was a mistake.”
Yeah Sparky it was a mistake, a fatal mistake. Finally, stupidity has become a felony. You are a felon now.
What is up for question is if this fool honors his dead friend and comes out on the side of gun play isn’t cool. “Fun with guns” just doesn’t seem to be much fun for the dead or the shooter.

9Give this man what he seems to want most – a loaded gun. Then lock him up in a room by himself and let him think about doing the right thing.
10I thought the whole purpose of bpvs was to protect vital organs from bullets. Maybe they should be designed like turtle shells to protect everything,you think?
11Idiots with guns! The same thing happened a few months ago some fool strapped on his new flak jacket and just had to make sure it worked as advertised. His apparently equally stupid friend agreed to shoot him in the chest but sadly he somehow missed and killed his friend. I guess you can blame alcohol I personally have never been quite drunk enough to ask my friend to shoot me so I’m going with stupidity.
