Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
OMG … he is sooooo cute!! You just need to kiss those chubby little cheeks and don’t scare him with too many loud booms from the fireworks!!
Happy 4th, JJ, Bubba and all of your family!!
1Happy Birthday to Me. Happy Birthday to Me. Yep.
IIIIIII’m a Yankee Doodle Dandy. Yankee Doodle do or die. A real life nephew of my Uncle Sam. Born on the Fourth of July.
Some years ago, a whole party sang Happy Birthday to me, and I had the inspiration to come back with the Cohan song at the top of my voice. Embarrassed my sister no end. Heh. Heh.
2Adorable.
3Just adorable.
ps – ‘appy Birthday W.C.
4Ah, how cute! (The baby’s not bad either.)
Stay safe and happy & off the roads. We need you this year even more than most!
5Happy birthday, W.C. Peterson. I celebrated my Sweet Six-Oh on the 29th of June. May your next trip around the sun bring you love, health, peace, abundance, laughter, and joy. Oh, and let’s throw in a Democratic expansion in Senate seats, and re-taking the House.
JJ, that is one of the cutest grandbabies I’ve ever seen!
Everyone, have a safe and happy Fourth.
6Happy Birthday, America! New generation coming up and a fine looking young man he is..
7Awwwww! Who does he most look like? Inquiring minds want to know so they say awwwwwww!
Happy birthday, U. S. of A.! Its been a bumpy ride since that day in Philadelphia, but I think the good, true and shining moments beat all the others!
8What a beautiful baby!
9Have a wonderful day. It is raining and cool, hope the sun will come out later.
He gets cuter and sweeter every day JJ.
Happy Birthday America and W.C.
If you can….click on the Google Doodle today, and listen to some rip roarin John Phillip Sousa.
Everybody have a safe and happy 4th of July.
10Such an alert and intelligent looking boy.
11He’s a born Democrat! have fun, Ben. don’t let the noises scare you.
A safe and happy Fourth to you all.
12Enjoy our future, the young Mister Benjamin. And take time to read the Declaration (singed by his namesake I presume):

Oh, Ben, you are so darn cute!
Happy 4th, youse guys!
14Happy Independence Day to you and yours.
15I really enjoy your writing; the previous note was a hoot.
Evidently all the hot air in Texas is nourishing to a particular strain of Females who are funny and smart and articulate, and try to be honest. And looking at Ben, there’s hope for the men.
Don’t forget the bucket of water to dump the burnt-out-but-still-hot sparkler wires into. My friend’s curious child picked one up and got a nasty burn on his cute little paw.
16Another Happy 4th wish plus video … this is the only fireworks I’ll be seeing tonight!!

It is windy, hot and wet in So. CO this afternoon.
17Happy 4th to all!
18Cute grand babies are the best, I haven’t met one yet that wasn’t. So much fun there!
Hope the parties are fun, the fireworks fabulous, and that the political squabbles are few! I miss my Ca neighborhood bike parade and our kazoo marching band, but my new neighborhood is holding a potluck on Sunday, so I’ve landed in a great space in In Upstate, NY. Last year we were at Niagria Falls and the fireworks were great, this year a quieter one, but always full of gratitude for the ideas of our founding fathers…this was at daily Kos today;

I have always held the separation of church and state to be one of the most import aspects of our system, and as a minority in the culture, that has never come home as sharply as recently. That is something to celebrate, and cherish…for it is my belief that it strengthens us, “e pluribus unim”. Have a wonderful day!
