I Love You Guys
Okay, you’ve all probably heard of the goblin shark, the horrid sea monster caught off the coast of Florida. I can’t put a picture of it here or Verdelia would start screaming and jump up on the manicure table in hysterics.
Okay, small picture but stay out of Verdelia’s way.
Well, the British picked up on this story and The Guardian printed it.
The first reader comment after the story?
Seriously. Go look.
Thanks to Tina for the heads up.
Is it the proboscis or the slanted forehead that bears a sharp resemblance? Oh yes, it’s the fang-toothed open mouth ready to spew.
1Leave the pants OFF, and it probably still has a resemblance to Gohmert. (Sorry Mama)
2How can we get MonkEMan to stop by the Salon once in a while? He’ll fit right in here!
3That’s it, Texas! Now Loopy Louie is an international embarrassment. Time to recall the biggest fool in Texas, please. Dear goddess, yes. Just yes.
4That is a face not even a Mother could love, but then so is Louie’s. Louie’s dog had to tie thousand dollar bills around Louie’s neck to get his mother to play with him.
5The phrase “Put some pants on it, it would pass for Louie Gohmert” deserves to become part of our language (much like “santorum”). Think about all the places we could post it. Then stop thinking and just do it.
6From the Urban Dictionary
1.
Blow the dolphin
To unequivocally, totally, and utterly fail at life.
2. (to be added)
7“Put some pants on it, it would pass for Louie Gohmert”

Verdelia, do not open the link. Underwater video of Loopy Louie without his pants on having a seafood snack.

8Dear Lord in Heaven, even the Brits have heard about Louie-louie? I be they are so glad they lost that war back in the 18th century!
9I would like to add that the “Louie Gohmert” comment has (so far) 55 “Recommends”, which are clicks by people who agree or at least encourage others to read the comment. And you can’t recommend the same comment twice, I’ve tried, so those are 55 different people.
This comment got 195 recommends:
“I’m his lawyer. He’s asked me to file a suit against you for that vile calumny.
Sorry, I should clarify I’m the shark’s lawyer.”
I checked the “Gohmert” commenter to see if he was American, but apparently he is British. His profile says he supports Michelle Bachmann for President, but I assume that’s for laughs.
As I told JJ, I don’t often laugh out loud at internet postings, but that description of the shark, in such an unexpected place, made my day.
