The election is May 27th so we’ve got plenty of time for competing song-offs.
The You Tube appears to be in response to a debate the candidates had this morning in Dallas.
In the most contentious matchup yet in what has become an increasingly vicious Republican runoff for lieutenant governor, Dan Patrick and incumbent David Dewhurst hurled personal attacks against each in Dallas on Wednesday.
These boy are just skinning the pig so Leticia Van De Putte can barbecue it.
The popcorn is being passed, along with the margaritas and sick bags.

Poor Texas, poor Leticia. It won’t be easy debating either of those tools. Responding to the insane non sequitur can be dizzying.

I just read the Tribune’s coverage of the “debate,” and it sounds like a couple of five-year-olds engaged in a “Did not!” “Did too!” playground rumble. When are we going to get some grown-ups running for office? Oh, wait! We do in the Democratic Party! Whew! Saved!
9PKM, the challenge of debating a jackwagon reminds me of a cartoon in which Biden, rehearsing for the debate with Palin, is urged not to sigh, laugh, roll his eyes, shake his head, smirk…. He finally says, “What’s that leave– puking?”

13The parallel insanity amuses me. Both these guys are totally irrational so they can’t complain abut their opponent’s irrational policies. That just leaves petty issues like name changing to bicker about.

14I saw that on the KTLA Morning News from Los Angeles the other morning. They were laughing and said it was the goofiest campaign ad ever. How embarrassing for my state. Thanks Dewhurst. Though I have to say Patrick’s (or whatever his name is) ads saying Dewhurst’s government had the nerve to try to educate illegal aliens and show Patrick in his stupid cowboy gear looking out over a mountain while an eagle cries are equally embarrassing. They make me cringe!
