Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
You tell ’em, Nancy. Those hypocrites.
1The president of the USA does not negotiate with terrorists. The Affordable Care Act is law, passed by Congress, signed by the president and upheld by the Supreme Court. You don’t get a do-over. Get over it and get back to work funding the government.
Boner cries-wah,wah,wah! Cant or won’t cries-wah,wah,wah! The whole retardican caucus cries-wah,wah,wah!! You tools forced the gubmint teat to dry up for millions of average citizens,I wouldn’t push your luck whining about what YOU yourselves have caused to happen. Hell won’t have you!
2You go girl (@Nancy P). I am of the opinion that the Republicans have a very different dictionary than we do.
Negotiate- The obtaining of property (or some action) from another induced by wrongful use of actual or threatened force, violence, or fear, or under color of official right.
Bye the way except for the parenthesized comment that is the definition of extortion.
Hippie in the Hollar
3Yes, those reasonable Republicans. They’re ready on their time schedule, at their table. They probably sawed part way through a leg on each empty chair too.
4When a cop stops you for speeding, you don’t negotiate the speed limit. It’s the law. Just as ObamaCare is the law. There is nothing to negotiate. It’s the law.
5Ohcheezwhiz! You guys get thee to an AA meeting! At least there you will have a type of anonymity. We would all appreciate that!
6I heard from an old friend today that said the senate had plenty of chances to negotiate with the others and they didn’t, so that means they wanted to shut down the government.
7Not only where are the women, where are the people of color?
8JJ: Just in care you need another reason to be a Democrat here’s an FDR quote from the 1936 Democratic convention:
“Governments can err, presidents do make mistakes, but the immortal Dante tells us that divine justice weighs the sins of the cold-blooded and the sins of the warm-blooded in different scales. Better the occasional faults of a government that lives in a spirit of charity than the constant omissions of a government frozen in the ice of its own indifference.”
Works for me.
9Those Republicans keep trying that empty chair gag and it never gets a laugh.
When will they learn?
10Here’s a “LIKE” for June Bug!!
11@June Bug – Wonderful quote! FDR = Legend. They don’t make ’em like that anymore.
12Maybe you’ve seen this by now, their net work is $119 Million…

Where were they in 2009 when the ACA bill was being worked out and negotiated?
14Clint Eastwood is back in the corner somewhere. I swear.
15Little Late for these Children to be playing Red Rover, but I could be up for a serious game of Dodge Ball!
