NASA is looking for people who are willing to lay on their backs for 70 days to “research the effects of microgravity on the human body, according to the Daily Mail . Participants will be allowed to have visitors and also access to the internet and TV.”
The best part? It pays $5,000 a month.
Here’s the application. There is one small downside. “We are looking for a population that resembles the NASA astronaut population.” Honey, that would put me in the 35 category – 35 year and 35 pounds past that.

I thought I might send this to my 20-year-old grandson in CA who would be great for this type of job … lay around and do nothing and collect money … but he doesn’t fit the “astronaut profile” being way too fat and lazy but he could sure get into that internet and TV stuff … it’s what he grew up on!! Because he was ADHD and then some early on, he was mollycoddled with no restrictions … now my son and daughter-in-law wonder why he’s so damned lazy!!
