Okay, so ya think she’s gonna be really mad when she wakes up and realizes what happened?

SAN ANTONIO –A woman was hospitalized with a gun shot wound to the chest after police say she tried to intervene in a fight between her boyfriend and his ex-girlfriend.  The shooting occurred a little before 2 a.m. at a home in the 1600 block of Amanda on the East Side.

According to police, the ex-girlfriend of a man showed up at his house and he grabbed a shotgun.  His current girlfriend tried to stop him and the shotgun went off, hitting the woman in the chest.  Police say the woman was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in stable condition.

Police are still investigating and have not said if the boyfriend would face charges in connection with the shooting.

Yeah, ‘cuz if you shoot the wrong girlfriend that ain’t against the law in Texas.  That falls under the category of getting in the line of my gunfire, or the Dick Cheney Ordinance.
