Heads Up (NEVER MIND!)
In 20 years of having a website, this has never happened to me.
The last half of the long story I wrote about local politics yesterday has disappeared. The entire last half is gone. I don’t have a copy of it.
If you do, you are my best friend. If you have a cached copy, please let me know.
NEVER MIND. Hal found a cached copy!
Oh, good grief. Hate it when something I wrote disappears. And yay for Hal!
1I tried to cut and paste it and send to someone and it wouldn’t send. Yay Hal for sure!
2Hal to the rescue!
3It took a couple of inquiries. Google has not dumped its cache collection of things posted on the internet tubes. It has it hidden. Choose the down green arrow next to the green script below the returned item. Not with an Ipad or any phone. It needs to be an actual PC connection. It still is a fact that anything you post on the internet is permanent. Just less so with an Ipad or a smartphone. Karen Vannerson is the tool of Satan, have no doubt. Or to agnostics, Karen Vannerson is a truly inept but effective political force in Fort Bend County. What kind of
4irony is that?
You have no idea how relieved I am! This stuff has happened before at the office and for some reason the folks there consider me the on-site techie and when I can’t answer their questions I get it in the back of the neck! And yes, they do use Iphones and Ipads etc. One of these days I am going to say adios muchachos you are on your own!
5Used the link, read it, and loved it.
Do the tea party people usually whine all that much. It’s a given, in politics the opposition is going to do research, and let people know what they find.
Instead of making Bubba et al move a couple of times at the Cinco de Mayo event yesterday, why didn’t they just move the tea party table out into the middle of the freeway? Would have been a benefit to all.
6Tea Party people whine all the time. Whining is their only alternative to pounding the table and threatening. But even then there’s a whiny tone. It is indicative of their immature over-entitlement. They think they deserve whatever they want, shouldn’t ever be told no….and you know, I’ve raised an autistic man who knows better than that and has more empathy than any twenty Tea Party members if you picked the tiny freckles of empathy off their dried up hearts and mashed ’em together.
The only people they ever pity are themselves.
