Run, Michele, Run!
When CNN tried to question Michele Bachmann about outright lies that came out of her Christian mouth in her CPAC speech, there was a 50 yard dash involved and more unrighteous indignation than proper for even Michele Bachmann.

On the upside, it appears that she did qualify for the US Olympic track team.
Thanks to Brian for the heads up.
Looks like even Bill O’Reilly called out Bachmann, even pointing out that W. had a bigger White House budget. She has jumped the shark yet again.
1Two articles checked the facts (lies) on Bachmann’s CPAC speech:

3Playing fast and loose with the truth is Bachmann’s M.O. Especially laughable is the “dogwalker” accusation, ranks right up there with her “I know a mother whose daughter had that vaccine and was afflicted with mental retardation thereafter.” Her protestations that the point she was trying to make was about Benghazi were laughable.
How is this moron still in office?
Had not heard from her in a while.
4The stupid is still strong in her, however.
It still amazes me the these republicans still say the dumbest things and either don’t care or don’t realize that they will be fact checked.
One can pretty much know that, whatever Shelly says, the opposite is true.
5What’s depressing is that getting the falsehoods out first and having them disseminated fast makes them “sticky” in the voters’ minds, and the fact-checking can never really catch up. This was somewhat true pre-Internet, but the social media have really amplified this efect. Perhaps this explains the continuing persistence of La Bachmann as a member of Congress?
6@maryelle: She’s still there because so many nincompoops want to believe her lies than consider the “inconvenient” truths.
Al Gore’s phrase becomes more and more fitting by the hour…
7Well, wasnt someone who posts here at the Salon afflicted with a near and dear one who said, “yes dear, but we’re all entitled to our own opinions about the facts”?? That little beauty just about summed it up; many people like Michele’s opinions about the facts, even the make-believe facts! Apparently many like the Governot’s too (LOVE that little Freudian typo maryelle!) and they vote accordingly.
8When I saw the title, I was hoping it was about Michelle Obama running for Senate from Illinois. What a let down.
