Rick Perry is Running for President and People Just Need to Be Willing to Die For That

March 06, 2013 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Rick Perry is running for President again.  He’s learned to count to three, and has figured out a way to explain how he became a millionaire when the only job he’s ever had has been on the public dole – hey, you can save a lot of money on hair care products if you use coupons.

So, since Texas is so far out there on the right, Rick cannot let Obamacare sneak its way into Texas by crossing the Canadian border or something like that.  So, we ain’t getting no damn Obamacare, ya hear?

Rick would rather kiss off $100 billion in healthcare benefits for the 24% of Texans who are uninsured than be a sissy boy like Chris Christie who can do arithmetic.  Additionally,

One of the most significant developments for Medicaid advocates came the day before, however, when a report by the state’s former deputy comptroller, Billy Hamilton, described expansion as smart, affordable and fair.

The report found a substantial impact on the Texas economy. In fiscal years 2014 to 2017, the injection of $27.5 billion in new federal Medicaid money would increase the state’s economic output by nearly $68 billion, said the report, which was sponsored by two religious-based advocacy groups, Texas Impact and Methodist Healthcare Ministries.

So, now he’s kissing-off $168 billion for the state of Texas.  Sitting nakkid on the back porch burning piles of money is Rick Perry’s plan to get elected President, and if a couple thousand children have to die for it, they ought to man-up and quit being obstinate. Besides, being obstinate is Rick’s job.  In fact, you could flip him upside down and cut diamonds with his head.

Thanks to Stephen for the heads-up.

Tom Toles summed up Gov. Perry in his cartoon this morning.

  2. Bahahahahhaha “In fact, you could flip him upside down and cut diamonds with his head.”

But what is NOT funny is denying health care benefits to the many in Texas who are uninsured.

The likely “honorees” to die for Rick Perry’s hissy fit are women and children who don’t get the medical care they need. Texas can’t get blue soon enough.

  4. Rick Perry is a hustler so it’s not surprising to me that knowing full well he’s never going to be president, he would still scam millions of dollars from idiots. But then again a fool & his money are soon parted so I hope his supporters lose all of theirs.

I have a grandchild whose head would cut diamonds. I do understand. What I DON’T understand is WHY IS PERRY STILL GETTING FULL TIME PAY AND FULL UNEMPLOYMENT? Explain that to me.

Rick Perry is governor of Texas for the same reason that so many other dingwah’s are in positions of power — They will do anything that we let them get away with. And, as Jacques Brel is alleged to have remarked, “If you let them, they will crochet the world the color of gooseshit.”

  7. Sorry … but it says “$68 billion” not $168 billion … man that’s a lot of zeros … no matter how you count it!!

Remember when he couldn’t remember the third thing? “Oops.”
Do we really expect him to remember the needs of the uninsured, the poor and the elderly? Texans must rise up and toss that fool into the Rio Grande. Let’s see how his hair looks then.

I know it seems too early to be 2016-watching, but the fact remains that jockeying for 2016 started before the votes were counted for 2012. Remember, we’re only 18 months from exploratory committee season.

    So who do we have?

    Perry, he thinks.
    Christie.
    Jeb.
Rand – whose coming-out party is happening on the Senate floor right now.
    Marco Rubio.

Who else looks like they’re laying down markers?

For myself, I think Rand Paul is too goofy looking to get elected, and Perry has already made an a$$ of hisownself. I am seriously frighened that another Bush might get elected into the White House.

Icky makes Christie look good. Heck, he makes Godzilla look good.

  13. Jeb will feel the full fury of the ultra right wingers when they bring up the Terry Schiavo case again. He turned them down on their last appeal when he said he was going to respect state law in this case and he couldn’t go any further. Then there are at least 2 of his kids that got some really poor publicity. One daughter had a mug shot in the paper (for pills) that made Nick Nolte’s look like really, really good. And that boy that is now in Texas has a helluva temper where fathers of girlfriends tell him to beat it and he tears up their front lawn with this car. And Mrs. Jeb tried to get stuff she bought in Europe into the U.S. without paying duty on it. Of course, there’s younger brother “Mission Accomplished” G.W. Real class, that bunch.
