Oops!

Rick Perry is right now this minute speaking to the opening session of the Texas Senate.

About 2 minutes into his speech, Perry started bragging about how Texas doesn’t have to raise taxes. At that point, they interrupted Perry’s speech to ask if there was a doctor in the house. There was. It appeared that someone was in a desperate situation in the Senate.

Perry paused and asked people to pray for the sick person. After about 2 minutes, he started up speaking again and said, “See, talking about taxes makes people …. uh, swoon.” There were loud moans.

Good Lord Almighty. Is nothing – except taxes – sacred?

And, as a special added treat, Rick Santorum was on the floor of the Texas Senate today. As if we needed more dumb.

Be social and share!

In 2003 I apologized to the nice lady at the British customs desk for afflicting them with David Blaine. I feel the presence of High Pitched Rick in your state demands the same. I’m very, very, very sorry we let him out of his cage.

  2. Perry shouldn’t brag about taxes until the lege is over, not before they start. The situation in our schools is entirely too dire, not to mention how he raped medical care for women.

    2
  3. Um, is there a difference between the way he behaves when he is on or off his meds?

    3
  4. Perry fails as much at entertaining as he does at governating. He is only funny by mistake, and his just living is a mistake. I don’t generally wish anyone ill, but based on the way he treats the teachers, school children and the poor women of Texas, he doesn’t deserve any good wishes. Too bad the Taliban doesn’t kidnap him, but then we’d have DolittleHurst and things wouldn’t be any better. They’re in a race with Kansas as to who will have the most fiscally and socially conservative state in the union. It makes me glad I’m old.

What the devil is Santorum nosing around here in TX politics for? Was he wearing his lavender suit? Pack that prize ass up and trailer him back to PA where he belongs!

**Maybe he got lost on the way to Newtown? Heard there was a grandstanding/photo op going on up there (it was po-LIT-i-cal!) by way of someone vacationing in St Pete FLA?

    Aggieland Liz,

The good folk of Pennsylvania had a “Kick Rick” campaign that was quite successful in getting rid of Santorum for good. We DON’T want him back.
He dresses so badly that California won’t take him either.
Longshanks, the Hammer of the Scotts, is eminently quotable here – “A man does well when he rids himself of a turd.”
Perhaps the good folks of Texas need a good “”Kick Rick” campaign too……

  7. Kick Rick….. we need bumperstickers!

Oh, my! Santorum on the floor! I see images of Texas Senators slipping and sliding and sailing across that floor like something out of Buster Keaton! Pandemonium!

  9. Well crap.. here I was all prepped to tell you about the first day of the Volunteer State legislature (known as the Pander Express) but you’ve got Rick Perry AND Rick Santorum. How the hell do our cranks and loons compete with THAT kind of lineup?

    S’not fair, dammit…

    By the light
    Of the silvery moon
    Good folks will swoon
    For their governor’s a baboon
    All the loons
    Are in session ’til June
The Texas lege close to the edge
    Will go over it soon
While they bay at the moon.

Listening to Perry can make anyone need a doctor.

  12. So the license for ahem ladies who work in “gentlemen’s clubs” is not taxes?

    12
  13. publius bolonius, that was an image I didn’t need in my head, but thanks for the laugh anyway!

Perry and Santorum in one room…. Everywhere they’re not breathes a sigh of relief.

OMG Indy, did they export Sanctorum to Texas? I thought he was domiciled in PA but I spose they can move…I think all my hair is gonna fall out…
    …Garçon! More wine! And hurry!

  15. We already have Glen Beck. Can’t Arkansas take Santorum?

  18. Squatlo,

As a fellow Middle Tennessean, it appears the general assembly of Evangelibaggers and WussBoyHaslam are in a competition for the most ridiculously INSANE and INANE lege in the 50 states.

Better to get ready to fight for PP, no guns at your workplace and hope to hell that nobody gets themselves injured as they are attempting to gut the crappy Workers’ Comp laws as well as the myriad of other idiotic anti-American activities proposed with Ron Ramsey as their head Evangelibagging moron. If you have never seen Ramsey live and in his silly cowboy boots, let me tell you, I have seen him. I work downtown and he was in front of the TN Supreme Court and he is about 5’4″, weighs about 130 lbs. which makes the “cowboy boot” commercial even more hilarious when you seen him.

What a great bunch of comments! Maybe former Senator Santorum was just topping up his MegaDumb at Bonehead Central.
