Perfect Weekend

December 09, 2012 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Ole Bubba and I went to see the lights in the Texas Hill Country this weekend.  Marble Falls was shiny.

And the courthouse in Johnson City was merry and bright.

Apparently this War on Christmas thing hasn’t crossed the Red River or maybe even the Mason-Dixon.

Holy cow, you can’t open your eyes in Texas without something twinkling at you.

It’s good to be home.

Be social and share!

Shoot, when you were in Marble Falls you shoulda hollered hey! at Vern. He needs all the support he can get since Marble Falls is about 99% Republican.

They’ve got a lit tunnel in Round Rock that costs $15 a car to go through. I made a much better $15 investment at Blacks Barbeque in Lockhart this afternoon. Lights are pretty but ribs are filling.

  4. Dang, Juanita, we’re off the highway halfway between Marble Falls and Johnson C, and woulda loved it if you woulda dropped in.

Next time, let me know. I’ll fix lunch (or breakfast or dinner), and then we’ll take you to one of the prettiest sites in Central Texas. Or sights. Either way, it’s small but beautiful. Like this salon.
