Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Today I am thankful for Susan and her wonderful site and for all of you all. Happy Thanksgiving, my friends.
1I am thankful for Susan’s wicked sense of humor and all of the rest of you who appreciate what she has to offer as much as I do. Hilarity loves company.
2Happy Thanksgiving to all who come to Susan’s blog for all the news that really matters … and all the good laughs, too!! It is going to be a glorious day here in my part of Colorado!! God bless each and every one of you and may your plates be overflowing!!!
3Every day is a good day to be thankful for Margaret and Helen. To all the patrons of the World’s Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, I wish you health, happiness, and a good pair of stretch pants for the holidays.

5OMG. I love it. Thank you Susan.
Now, I have to go fix the cornbread dressing.
Be thankful for all you have, because we all have enough.

7Best M&H yet, sent it to all my friends. Happy Thanksgiving!
8Those girls have it right!! I learned to cook with bacon and bacon grease and I have outlived nearly all my friends, so when I eat my own cooking it will have some in it..so there!!!

13Thank you for all you bring to us, JJ/Susan – Best to you and yours, and thanks for the M&H tipoff. Will be sharing with family. Hope some of them listen!
14Thanks to JJ for creating our little community and for her work in politics in Texas. Must be what herding cats is like.
15I am thankful to Susan for this site where we can hang out with likeminded people; I am thankful for likeminded people; and I am very thankful that many of this month’s votes, especially that big one, went the good way.
16Here in Maryland, I’d be thankful if Dallas loses today, but I’m not holding my breath, and I know many of you may not share my hope on this one. We won the White House and that’s a lot bigger.
Forever grateful to have lived in Ft Bend County so I could discover the Beauty Salon in person, and count Juanita Jean as my friend to the end. I am thankful she attracts such fabulous customers. Cheers!
17What everybody else said. Yeahhhhh. ๐
18I only write this stuff to read the comments. Hugs to all of you!
19Checking in late…thanks to you all for making my day of gratitude (my every day state of grace) complete…Blessings on everyone, I hope there was as much laughter in your house as there was in mine…
20Happy Thanksgiving to all and thank you for helping keep me sane through the election. It’s nice to know there are like minded souls in the country and you all are wicked funny.

Washington State, so the time’s a little different, but it’s still Thanksgiving here. The whole fan-damily has gone to bed, but I wanted to take a moment to thank JJ and her faithful clients for making my life happier. I hope all of you had a blessed and wonderful and fun-filled holiday. Our youngest daughter cooked the turkey this year to rave reviews, and our whole family had a truly marvelous day — I hope all of you did, too. Thanks to JJ and all of you!
22I am thankful for Miz Juanita Jean and her Bubba and all you wonderful customers here at the Salon. I am thankful for my wonderfully curmudegonly spouse and my beautiful, open-minded children and their beautiful, open-minded spouses who up close and personal provide sanity in an otherwise crazy family. Y’all are just the best!!
