A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.

Honestly, Todd Akin looks like a Halloween mask. Maybe he’s not really human?
1Isn’t there some sort of slang word often used to describe a dog that happens to be female? This is like the Romneys when they describe Obama as being like a child–i.e., a “boy.” It’s code for the radical right so they can pretend they aren’t being bigots.
2I hope ole Todd keeps flapping those lips. Every time he shows how stupid he is and how little he thinks of women, he loses more votes. No amount of Republican voter fraud can over come foot in mouth disease for this guy.
3If he was referring to her as a female dog as the word is used in slang to degrade women, then both are truly offensive.
However, it has been my experience that dogs are loyal, loving, guardians of their territory and loved ones, able to love unconditionally those who show them kindness and attention, and are generally wonderful judges of character. That profile seems to exemplify almost all of the Democrats I have ever known. Guess the “righteous” Republicans are just jealous that they have none of those traits.
Mind you, I think cats are wonderful as well, and no Republican politician these days could ever come close to being as intelligent, independent, and cozy as almost any cat.
The new GOP seems to be full of hate, spite, and an eagerness to belittle anyone who doesn’t agree with them one hundred percent. They bring shame on themselves, their party, our nation, and their own small-minded version of faith. What sad little men (and women) they are.
4yet huckabee has somehow assumed the mantel of legitimacy. the man who blamed columbine on homosexuality.
like jan brewer, his kids are completely fracked up but HE knows what’s good for us. did akin breed? what are his kids into?

7Huckabee is simply amazing in that he claims to be a minister. These modern-day ministers of hate certainly are different from the kindly ministers of my youth.

9It suddenly occurred to me….. if they are calling McCaskill a B*tch, then it probably never occured to them that they are summbiches, and it isn’t nice to speak poorly of your mama. AND BTW…. in Cabo, I have a friend who proudly and frequently wears a rhinestone brooch that spells out that word …. tells everyone it stands for Beautiful Intelligent Terrifically Confident Hottie. Gotta love it.

As for Akin– as someone else said on here a while back, referring to a similar GOP star, it takes real talent to stick your foot in your mouth when your head is that far up your rear end.

12And yet here is the news from Missouri:
The PPP poll shows McCaskill clinging to a narrow lead over Republican challenger Todd Akin, 46% to 40%. Six-percent of respondents are undecided, enough to potentially wipe out McCaskill’s lead.
All of this in spite of the fact that according to PPP Akin’s, “ image has actually just continued to get worse”. 31% of voters now say they have a favorable opinion of him to 57% with a negative one, compared to a 33/55 spread earlier this month.
Here is part of the problem, 51% of respondents to the latest poll disapprove of McCaskill, while 44% approve. Another reason to think that the race is far from over is the 48-to-41 percent margin by which Missouri voters would like to see Republicans have control in the U.S. Senate.
I hang my head in despair….
13Later Monday, Akin senior campaign adviser Rick Tyler tweeted, “If Claire McCaskill were a dog, she’d be a ‘Bullshitsu.’ ”
Tyler, reached by telephone, said, “It was a joke. Get it?”

14I love the word BITCH! Females are smarter, more loyal and they don’t have to pee on everything to tell someone they’re around. Oh, and an angry bitch can go after someone who has put himself in the wrong place and eat his liver for desert.
All these two boys are doing is acknowledging that Claire McCaskill is the dominant person in the race.
15As the proud owner of numerous Shih Tzus over the years, the Bullshihtzu moniker infuriates me….makes me madder than I already was, for petty reasons. Trust me, Chewbaca, Luke Skywalker and TashaBelle will get even with that SOB when he enters the next life. You know those nasty looking lions guarding the front doors of high end Chinese restaurants? Well, they’re Shih Tzus…..Palace Guards…..small but mighty, and incredibly loyal. Definitely Democratic Dogs…. the dogs who were tended and spoiled by the Eunichs in the Palace… and who left with them, (and their dried-up, preserved Eunich kanoogies) when the people overthrew the royals. Don’t anger a ShihTzuLover. We know all about Kanoogie Extractions.
