Thanks for the Help, Mitt
So, in case you haven’t heard, President Obama’s economic policies are working like a heavy hammer on a greased nail.
Friday’s monthly jobs report changed the picture of the U.S. economy in more ways than one, showing the unemployment rate fell to the lowest level in more than three years and hiring was stronger than originally reported throughout the summer.
Unemployment unexpectedly fell to 7.8% in September, down from 8.1%, as a survey of U.S. households showed 873,000 more Americans had jobs compared to a month earlier.
So, what does Bain Capital do?
Sensata Technologies, a company owned by Bain Capital is closing down its Freeport, IL plant and moving it to China. The company’s 175 workers will lose their jobs. The employees wrote a letter to Bain’s founder, Mitt Romney, last week asking him to help save their jobs. He has not responded as yet.
Bain Capital is determined to get those unemployment numbers back up, dammit.
Thanks to Marcia for the heads up.
Thanks Marcia. All of two days ownership huh? Oh and train your China replacements while you’re on your way out the door. Let me guess – said train them or…….fill in your own blank.
1Well guys he don’t have time for you, he’s running for President don’t ya know.
2They have invited Mittens to come out and talk to them at that plant, but he has ignored them.
It would be great if Obama went out there. It would raise the awareness.
3If you think Dems are demoralized, look at this picture:

5All republicans are astounded that the jobs report is a good one, they felt that they had done a spectacular job of blocking the president from creating jobs at all, only in America could we have a party of scumbags that hate for people to get jobs. How patriotic, just like keeping your money offshore.
6I posted this on my Facebook page, and am going to re-post it here…… because we need to spread good news whenever we can:
7Looking at the new Jobs Report…When I need anything remotely like office supplies, I usually head to the nearest Office Depot. It has been in the same place in Pasadena, as long as I can remember. It is in a strip center type situation, and for years …… everything around it was empty. It was depressing. There was, at one time a department store on the other end….. but it closed. Today, what a pleasant surprise. There is now another department store “Ross Dress For Less” on the other end, and and new “Anna’s Linens”, having a grand opening sale, and a Goodwill Store in there also, between all the rest. Strip Center is full. And, that’s jobs. Guy in Office Depot says it’s happening all up and down the street. That’s jobs.
I watched the debate with great disappointment and anger. Hopefully JB can resurrect Obama’s omissions and this subject would be a good place to start.
8Bud, please back up and watch those kids like Jan says. It will pick you up and set you down in a whole lot of trust that our President is a wise man, and a shrewd poker player….does he look down or defeated??? No, sir…..and, me, too, neither!!
9On a side note, I did not know these buttons of Cowboy Obama were available at $1 per. I just orderd some. I REALLY like that picture.
10I learned during a nasty divorce from a man (Republican) who cheated and lied with abandon and then tried to paint me with his brush, that people who do this routinely assume that everyone does it. Romney’s people cannot fathom that there is an objective truth to anything which might be favorable for Obama. Indeed, having obstructed his every initiative to improve the job situation, crow loudly about his failure. So these new favorable job numbers have to be discredited. This black Democrat cannot succeed. Just ask Mitch McConnell.
11I’m pretty sure the job surge was all those newly hired fact checkers!
12And Romney is just as sharp on foreign policy: http://blogs.ajc.com/mike-luckovich/2012/10/05/107-mike-luckovich-cartoon-big-bird/
