Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Jim Moore, from down here in Texas has an excellent column in Huffington Post today on lynchings.

Asks very pertinent questions about what’s next???
I’m not as eloquent as Juanita, or Jim Moore. But, I do know that already things have gone too far. I am already too sad to contemplate what may come next.
1We actually have an example of how to act in the face of insanity from our very own Dear Leader: panic doesn’t help, nor does anger. The only thing any of can do is to rationally, peacefully, sanely go about our business. Identifying Dem voters and then getting out the vote would be a very good place to start.
2I like it. For every person that gives this guy a thumbs up – 2 will give him a big thumbs down. Then there with be 4th one who will shake his head and think, “I just can’t be Republican anymore”. That 4th one is why I like it.
3Shouldn’t that be “Authority Through Illiterate-ion”?
4On the lighter side…

If I still lived in Austin, I’d be sorely tempted to drop off a few lawn chairs on his lawn. And I’d encourage my friends to do the same, so he’d wake up to a forest of chairs. Heck, let’s throw in some pink flamingos just for the heck of it.
But then, I have a rich fantasy life.
5Authority through intimidation, deprecation and just plain meanness!
6Kerry, he would see a forest of chairs as people agreeing with him and backing him. Now, the pink flamingos, love it!
7How’s about a garden gnome or two and for sure several black stable boy figures?
8Yesterday I had to have an Optimum Cable guy to take me back to Basic cable, I can’t afford the Optimum Triple Play monthly charge of $140 and climbing. This guy, nice as he was, use to be a Democrat but is now a stalwart Republican. I asked him what he thought of Mitt’s 47% video/comments. He said “… the media is making too much of it.” I said: “But the video has Mitt saying what he said!” The Service Guy thinks the media has finagled the video!
Sad! It is truly sad … however, Colorado is showing that it is standing with President Obama … and that is a GOOD thing!!
9I’m sorry, honey, but when people start lynching their furniture, it’s time for commitment papers.
Imagine how annoyed the Missus must be now that she can’t have the ladies over for bridge, there just aint enough chairs now.
