Yeah, Hank, And The Last Time You Had a Hit Was 1989

I would like to offer you living proof that alcohol destroys far, far more brain cells than marijuana does.

Bless Hank Williams, Jr’s tiny little alcohol addled heart, he’s trying to revive his career by getting himself some attention.  At a concert Friday night, he offered himself up as alcohol and gun poster child.

Following the song “We Don’t Apologize For America” a chant of “USA, USA” broke out amongst the crowd. Williams smiled, telling the crowd that he was their mouth piece and adding:

“We’ve got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the US and we hate him!”

An interesting aside:  Mr. Williams has never attended church, had a farm, served in the military or liked much of anything, including his own mother.  That is what alcohol does to you.

On the other hand —

.

Yes, indeed, love is real.

Be social and share!

  1. And for Hank’s next number, he’d like to sing “I’m Just A Bleatin’ Cretin Gettin’ Mah Gun Off At The Meetin’.” Definitely under the affluence of incohol, but he’ll tell you he’s not as think as you drunk he is.

  2. Now there is a pair for ya! Yep, that’s me, a Willie lovin’ Obamabot!

  3. At least Hank has his rowdy friends, those sons of Birchers!

  4. Sam in Kyle says:

Ted Nugent and Hank Williams Jr. Proof evolution works both ways.

  5. Rick, your “I’m Just A Bleatin’ Cretin Gettin’ Mah Gun Off At The Meetin’ ” was my first serious laugh of the day – let us know when you start selling the t-shirts!

I’m so ashamed this happened in my state. Please everybody, don’t judge all Iowans by these few that applauded this asshat for his little hate speech. Sadly, like every state, we have our share of idiots and loons. Sigh.

Although I’m an old rock and roller, I’ve always loved Willie and had a great love for his music. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting him, more than once and gave him a heart felt thank-you for all he has tried to do for the American farmers. I’ve also been on the Honeysuckle Rose, his beautiful bus.

So Willie, now is the time to write a song, I know you can, to counter these hateful people that claim to be such great patriots. They are not! Come on Willie, let her rip!

  7. And don’t forget that, per Mitt Romney, that Muslim President is running his campaign based on hate and should take it back to that hateful city Chicago. Though I can’t recall anything coming from the Dems that is as hateful as what this guy is saying. I assume that Romney will denounce Junior.

  8. Many years ago “ol Hank was out climbing and had an accident that split open his head and his brains came tumbling out. I see they didn’t get them all put back.

  9. Don’t hold your breath, LynnN. We know Romney has a well-developed technique for dodging any question he doesn’t want to answer and for claiming that he didn’t hear certain things. PBO has more courage in one of his little fingers than Romney will ever have.

  10. I don’t usually pay attention to political endorsements from celebrities but when I do, it has be to Willie Nelson. Stay country my friend.

I’d pay serious money for that picture of 2 of my favorite people. I love Willie, President Obama, and also enjoy Hank, Srs. music. Don’t you think he’s spinning in his grave.

  12. They say every time you get drunk it destroys one brain cell, guess Hank’s living proof.

    12
  13. Just one brain cell? I think his booze is higher proof than that.

Surely there is someone who frequents this non-blog who can speak to this person’s actions regarding Jack Daniels and the saloons of Darby, Montana.
It has been too long since I became aware, to comment upon this azzhats episodes.
