Divorce #5 Headed To The Courthouse

July 06, 2012 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

That hunka hunka burnin’ love, Rush Limbaugh must be having a few problems at home with the Ex-Mrs.-Wonderful #5 so he’s taking it out on all women.

On the electric radio …

How many nervous breakdowns?

“When women got the right to vote is when it all went downhill. Because that’s when votes started being cast with emotion and maternal instinct that government ought to reflect”

Moments after he realized what he said, Limbaugh interrupted the caller to claim he was “just joking” and was “frustrated.”

Frustrated?  Frustrated?   No, Rush, you don’t have frustration, but you are a carrier.

Thanks to Norma and Carl for the heads-up.

Be social and share!

Isn’t it funny how misogynists like Rush just can’t understand why the wimmens don’t love ’em? How much is this divorce gonna cost ya, Rush? When are you gonna finally realize that your marriage problems begin and end with yourownself?

I’m trying to come up with an ounce of sympathy for you; but, I seem to be all out. Too bad.

  2. Imagine how difficult it will be to return all that gold-colored furniture, towels, and kitchenware to the Woolworth’s.

Such a whiny little weenie. No surprise that she’s left, the only shock is that she–or anyone else–ever said yes.

Excuse me if I don’t laugh, Mr. Limbaugh.

About 10 years ago I had conversations with people where I opined that the “fetal life first” crowd was not after Roe, but rather Griswold. People laughed and said no one would seriously consider rolling back access to contraception. The idea of birth control as an absolute evil was a fringe notion only a few short years ago. It’s now a topic of mainstream discussions.

The idea that granting suffrage to women was a mistake is laughed at. It’s way out there and no one could take it seriously. The amendment preceding the 19th, Prohibition, was strongly tied to the suffrage movement. It was repealed. If we’ve learned nothing else over the years, we should have learned that these guys are patient and in it for the long run. Their tantrums and hissy fits may be laughable, but any parent can tell you that, while it may seem like a demand for instant gratification, a toddler’s tantrum is an exercise in patience and wearing down of the opposition that rivals the Chinese water torture.

I’m not laughing because I think this is dead serious and just the tip of the ice berg. They’re picking off the voting rights of Democratically inclined demographics one by one. Women are not immune or invulnerable if we remain complacent.

from my heavily padded study, in north east Texas …

    @shortpeople:
I had a sainted mother, I have a dear wife and a little princess daughter. I have therefore three significant reasons to fight such knucklheadedness at every turn. @#%$^%$&^(*&(&(&%^%$#%$# and so on,

  6. This guy can get red-faced apoplectic and start drooling over a simple comment by Sandra Fluke and he think’s women are overly emotional?

  7. I’m old enough to remember going to another state to get birth control pills so I agree with shortpeople. Years ago, while lobbing my state rep in Austin for passage of the ERA, I received a tongue lashing from an anti ERA guy for going against the will of God. During my brief encounter with the Mormon gentleman from another state, I caught a glimpse of the future. They were after birth control in 1978. The young women I have mentioned this to look at me like I’m nuts. It’s just a matter of time.

The only question I have is just how much does a stint as a soon-to-be-ex Mrs. Limbaugh actually pay? A pretty penny I’d imagine but probably not worth it at thrice the price.

  9. shortpeople says:

@sgt Mike: Your support and solidarity in this are heartening. They aren’t a substitute for self awareness, but it is appreciated. I think the threat is real. Lyme disease begins as a little bug bite, but it develops into a debilitating condition. Stop it now.

  10. Sam in Kyle says:

I think the real reason she’s leaving Rush is she got tired of putting the anti-nausea patches behind her ears all the time.

  11. It just seems like yesterday that this piece of garbage was paying Elton John to sing at his wedding, I think all of his weddings are sham to cover up the reaL Limbaugh, let us face it, remember those stories of how he likes little boys?

    11
  12. I know my calendar says it’s 2012, but it sure seems like 1959. Even my republican friends on Facebook appear to think it’s 1959, too!

Wasn’t that drug-addled gas bag going to leave the country when the healthcare act was passed? Does he need help packing? I have some free time this afternoon.

  13. One thing about Rush, he is never emotional. Always the picture of logic and control. A friend of mine who taught logic in college used Rush as class examples of not following rules of logic.

    13
  14. I’m with shortpeople. That Rush would actually say he’s “just joking” about repealing the 19th amendment makes me very nervous. Rush backtrack on crazy talk? How often does this happen? No, I think he just realized he let the plans for the repeal out of the bag too soon. Hopefully, we sane people will be voting the whackadoodles out of office in Nov.

    When ya leaving Rush?
Please don’t let anything stop you!

@EdithAnn – I’ve got some extra suitcases I’ll give to the cause of getting that gas bag on the first plane to the Sudan. They don’t have gov. health care there.

    16
  17. Said it before, say it again: The difference between Rush Limbaugh and the Hindenburg is this. Rush Limbaugh is a flaming Nazi gasbag. The Hindenburg was a dirigible.

    17
  18. It’s Sunday, so I will try to be nice about Limpy~I do, however, agree, 100%, with Wanda Sykes and I do as well, wonder what a FOURTH (4th) GOLDIGGER “earns” in a divorce from Limpy. Thank you, that is as nice as I can be about this PIG~

    18
  19. What? Rush Limbaugh is still talking? And double what? Anyone is still listening?

    19
  20. I really hate it when conservatives talk about taking away people’s rights, or make threats, and then turn around and say they are “just joking”.

Can anyone think of a good comeback for that?

    20
  21. How about “then I have a suggestion. Screw you and your censorious chickenshit. . Just joking…”
