The Harris County Democratic Headquarters was attacked last night.

Superglue was poured into all the locks.

And we are still waiting on the federal judge’s ruling on the drive-though voting.  He said he’d have a ruling in 15 minutes – it’s been almost an hour.

  1. The Republican judge ruled that the Republicans don’t have standing to sue.

They will have to try again, but the Harris County drive-through votes are still legal and will be counted.

  5. Well, that ought’ta win them a lot of new voters.

  6. Wear that red paint like a badge of honor. Put out a sign that says “This is how the GOP behave.” Leave it up until the Harris Co Republican group comes and cleans it up.

    Kristalnacht, anyone?

Had a young Rethuglican here throw a brick through the front window of our HQ a few years back, so a Dem supporter put on a “broken windows concert”. Raised a heck of a lot of money for us. Just sayin’.

But superglue in all the locks is really low.

I’m so angry and disappointed in Texans’ behavior. Shame on them for horrid behavior.

  10. For #6…what makes you think they’d do so?

The cruelty is the point. Look at Allen West’s response to the Biden Bus incident.

  11. Elizabeth Moon says:

Trey B…voluntarily, no, they won’t. But it’s a crime. It’s a crime against the owner of the building, and if that owner sues them for malicious mischief, vandalism, and *interfering with rental income*, then….then they will have to cough up the cost of returning the building to useful condition. And in the meantime, maybe one or more of them will spend a little time in handcuffs, being perp-walked in front of cameras.

Intentionally ramming into someone else’s car is also a crime. Threatening a presidential candidate is a crime. The GOP has now permanently shot themselves in all four feet as having any claim to being for “law and order.”

    11
  12. Elizabeth Moon…you’re absolutely right it’s a crime…so are lots of other things this administration has done. How has any attempt to be able to actually prosecute them for this worked out so far?

They DGAF about it and have all but completely admitted that law and order is only when it’s convenient for them.

That includes the numerous police departments and police unions that have all thrown in their lot with Agent Orange. I expect no justice in either of these events considering Texas police as a whole, with the exception of the actual Texas Rangers.

It’s becoming increasingly clear that even if Biden wins we’re going to have to deal with a much more empowered and emboldened right-wing domestic terrorist problem, and unfortunately as the FBI has reported they have made vast inroads into law enforcement all over the United States. Do not rely on the police, do not rely on the currently existing law systems.

Cisneros (the terrorist truck rammer) even boasted of doing it on his personal Facebook before it was taken down. Screenshots are out there and multiple news organizations have reported him. Why is he not already arrested? Because the police quietly approve.

  13. Elizabeth Moon says:

Law enforcement organizations are definitely a large part of the problem, exacerbated by political leadership that thinks the laws don’t apply to them. Been saying that for years.
